Instead of making Ammu and Viru scheming to get back the property, villians are sabotaging Chitnis family's livelihood! Kuch bhi!

They have to stay in poverty after all. From what was said about the ring wont be surprised if the price of the ring goes into multiple lakhs (if not around a crore).

There was this line in the movie 'As good as it gets' : the FL says with frustration "Can I have a normal boyfriend?" [ML was happy she referred to him as a boyfriend.] Reminded me of that. Sab ke sab odd lag rahe hai. Supposedly he spent 3-4 years in the US and still hasn't changed his view.

Yup. (unwanted) jealousy loading.

Feel bringing him may raise the question that many in SM hadn't connected perhaps - why is it that she had enough fortitude to walk away from that proposal and not Virat after the mela? What was different with Virat? Just that he is the ML?

I get your point. Here is my meaning of how witers execute wrong not the what from writers POV. Theres many fake layers I Agree . 1) ask forgiveness but how in terms of babita will virat prevent this from happening again. 2) all his actions seem for short term gain & not long term( example was business cards were more sensible long term... even business loan). 3) is virat doing these because Amu did for his family or its his real personality?

Amu- its your choice to see monologue again. Based on litte ive heard.... Amu says how she has emotions for virat and how to go forward. Amu does not say why based on everything that ocurred. So its usual writer rubbish of contradictory dialogues. Never have I watched a show with this unreliable dialogue inconsistent with characters

Bold: Have to go to pre-mela times of Virat. Though it is a bit bad (or odd), I dont mind Virat doing these because of what Ammu did to his family. There is mutual acknowledgement that I can respect. (Referring to one of your previous posts, not enough to sustain a relationship imo, but good enough for a decent relationship even if it goes unnamed.)

Is this his real personality? And that's the part that triggered this reply. What is his real personality? parts of it I could think of:

• There is this mean Virat who wants to avenge her because she insulted his family - the ugliest that went is the mela and the morning after.
• The Jayesh-Ishika wedding time Virat who was genuinely wanting to and helping Amruta and her family - and this part of him I wont be surprised if it was unconditional too. [But used as a tool to whitewash him.] This is the 'idealistic' version of him - at least a bit removed from reality.
• Momma's boy who believes his mom and family can do no wrong - its only others who are the bad ones... parts of it were visible during the fake wedding. He cant take anything against his family.
• Confused (or probably not confused) lover boy... the part that is seen mostly in chem scenes these days. I dont think he is thinking long term (or long term is taken for granted by him)... he mostly wants to get a high by confusing Ammu into well... staring at the headlights. [its deliberate from him these days as against accidental ones in the beginning phase.]
• The part that feels overwhelmed, incapable, unable to do anything, self deprecating, blaming himself for everything, 'what do I even do?' .... this part came up I guess esp from the time ex came to Ahuja house. [I feel he is the most teachable in this part. and thus even if it can be looked at as bad, I'd prefer this version over every other one in this list.]
• The part who wants to 'manao', 'patao', 'impress' her and her family... and unfortunately I think its also the part that handled the apology. This is a new one too imo and could've and should've been avoided - esp when you have the pre-mela Virat already defined. Would've been better if that part handled this phase... even if it doesn't change Vandy's pov... and she thinks he is fake. [As if things weren't bad enough, they have added one more bad layer to him.] btw.. better word than 'fake' is 'superficial'... what he does lacks depth in many ways.

Why this surname is weird for me?Similar to Jayesh character? his character description is similar to Amruta's description during lohri conversation ig.

Its a common Maratha surname. They are probably using it for 'shubh kadam' pun. From what I know though, Chitnis and Kadam are two different communities. I dont know if in normal circumstances, inke beech arranged marriages hote hai kya - since they were supposed to get married. Else it would suggest it would've been a love marriage, that she decided to break away from at the last minute.

Yeah... similar to her description. hopefully 4 saal me 'evil' nahi ban gaya.

PS: 'Shubh Kadam' pun. Are they hoping that his entry will be good for the show. Has to be if the show is to continue better imo. Hope they've worked on their writing too - more than just finding a pun. They've given the character a good build up - been talking about him for more than a week now. for now 'lotusfeet' sounds good .

Ohh sorry I didn't know.Just 'Kadam' word make me 'शुभ कदम '() Bhavani itne achche naam ke damad ko haat se kaise jane diya?Kya pata iss naam ke bajase uske aur Jayesh ke rishtey bhi thik ho jata?(sorry but yesterday the way she showed her concern towards him,I didn't like it at all,her attitude towards him is like even now if he will propose her to come back in his life,she will willingly go towards him, Bhavani in Jayesh matter is like despo for me)sorry to all Bhavani lovers here, it's just my opinionKya pata love marriage bhi ho sakta haiIn her conversation it was like obviously she was attached with him little or say fell for him without confession

Pehle dekho 4 saal ko 1.5 year na bana de gajni writersHis male ego was hurt for her rejection so he's definitely not a good person even now and also maybe with passing years his obsession increasedbaas Viraj Dobriyal jaisa nhi hona chahiye.Abhi tak bechara shadi nhi kiya to satisfy his ego,he will definitely want her by hook or by crook ig and I'm seated to see two boys fighting for one girl

This track could be better only if lazy writers (🥱) write well and execute this track well with maturityAnd ig qwween () too start her shooting

On second thoughts, can recollect in Jun/Jul itself this team planned to bring back Gautam role playing actor, to start some jealousy angle in Virat. But Gautam as ex got used just to make a phone call and invite Amruta for coffee date before he relocated to Pune, and he never came back. Focus shifted to Pri, Babita plottings and Nimrit, Rajeev marital issues, along with umpteen crimes while forcibly whitewashing Virat was their high priority and Gautam angle which was supposed to irk and bring jealousy in Virat took back seat.

Feel same plot this team might be dusting to reuse now with this new Shubh role as ex, rather than bring back Gautam whom both audience and Virat clearly know wasn't serious about Amruta or her aspirations and he being a selfish person.. while here both audience and Virat don't know much about Shubh, so there may be some curiosity? Anyhow I can sense it's a cameo role, Ravish is neither getting to play elaborately worked out character of a parallel lead nor negative lead in KMTMG as hyped in media few weeks back. Hope I won't be wrong.
