Second - she should've been in the background during the kidnapping track. Shouldnt have come to Ahuja house... shouldnt have been the one who caught Nimmi the second time. Showing her in contact with Rajeev and not doing anything a out it, while and after the incident...
This is probably used only to keep her relevant in the show... (I see more sense in Rajeev having all the money, property, being free from all the charges... and plotting against them... than having ex around.)
(Btw perhaps the reason she is missing for a couple of eps is the fever / illness that was reported.)
It was all Abhiraj's story that was stolen and given to Rajiv and ex. 
Rajiv only wanted money and luxury to live a life with Tara. He didn't exactly want all of the properties that the Ahujas owned. Similarly with Ex. She got married to Viru for his money.
Abhiraj and his mom wanted their share of property from Bebe. Their story was stolen and given to Rajiv and P, since AH got tired of his character going round and round with no actual direction.

Have heard about people suffering from ptsd that they sometimes shut those bad memories out. Things are fine until they see something that pokes that memory... and Virat just did that. Did that poke that swelling? Or will she still be able to pretend 'all is fine'?
In any case her reaction to the mela event is so very odd.
Another similar incident was her learning about Jayesh's ema. In many ways she acted more appropriately to that incident. I wish to know what she felt (thought monologue) about both these incidents - Jayesh one is long gone now and they've missed that bus... but mela one is still a thorn on her heels, not just on the road ... she has to acknowledge it.

Now they can show AmVira are fighting to get back their house, Amruta strongly and intelligently will help them to get the house and because of her, they will get their all property and then Dildar will taunt Papita and they(minus Papita and her sadu maa) will welcome Amruta respectfully and Dildar will proudly say Amruta is auspicious for their house, will arrange a big party to announce Amruta as the daughter in law of their house and then they can introduce the new entry.But nhiiiiii...aisa kuch hoga nhi
