Maybe they're thinking because he's the most loved/interesting character in the show, they can make him do whatever they want and then do something like HA and he'll be hailed again!
But how many times will audience trust him and love him? What if he stops making impact on audience? Jhanak toh as a character vese bhi utna impactful nehi he, frankly.

Is sab mein Krushal deserves a lot of credit for still anchoring Ani in some form despite makers playing so much with his character....he is still adding emotion with full sincerity wherever he gets some scope in a scene.
Meanwhile Chandni's acting is becoming all the more cringe and forced in these tracks....she is not that level of actor ki Arshi jaise character ke liye sympathy extract kar sake....but makers seem determined to keep trying 
.....she's left looking like a khichdi mess between a vamp and a wannabe bechari....lol
