When Nupur was waiting for a cab at the place she overheard the watchmen discussing the incident

"Mayank Sharma itne bade admi hokar kisi ka is qadar pecha karenge yeh to ho nahi sakta. Ya to iss ladki ko koi galat fami hui hai ya ye zabardasti un ke gale padh rahi hai.Wo to ladkiyon se chalees kadam door rehte hai"

"Ha han dikh gaya ek ameer admi samne to bhai kya kare koi na koi tareeka to chahiye inhe"

Nupur was disgusted but was ashamed as well. She could feel she was at fault after overhearing the watchmen.

She took a cab and immediately reached home and at night after the dinner discussed everything with Gunjan

"Di maine pehle hi kaha tha wo aisa lagta hi nahi.."

"Ab mujhe kaise pata hoga Gunjan ki kaun kaisa hai."

"Ab jo hogaya di uska to hum kuch kar nahi sakte. Wo badlega to nahi. Ab tum ek hi kaam kar sakti ."

"kya kaam?"

"Usse sorry bolne ka kaam."

"Sorry bolne ke liye main use kahan dhundti phirungi bhala?"

"Jaise abhi to bina dhunde wo mil raha tha waise hi mil jayega. Dhundne ki zarurat to nahi hai. Bhagwan ne chaha to mil hi jaega. Ab tum aram karo kal ladke wale bhi arahe hai."

"Nupur's face fell on hearing what Gunjan she had completely forgotten about it. Gunjan could see the tension rising on her face.

"Di tum itna tensed kyu ho rahi ho? Aj nahi to kal ye hona hi hai aur abhi to shaadi nahi ho rahi abhi to time hai."

Nupur took a deep breath and nodded her and said

"Main teri baat bhi samjh rahi hoon Gunjan but meri halat tu tabhi samjh sakegi jab teri bri ayegi"

"Haaye di us pal ka to mujhe besabhri se intezaar hai."

Gunjan said while pretending and they both chuckled and Nupur said playfully

"Jab waqt ayega tab samjh ayega."

"Acha di you rest main kitchen se aati hoon."

Saying this Gunjan left and room and Nupur sat there thinking about what wrong had been happening with her. Thinking about all the mess in her life she went off to sleep cozily without the tension that someone is following her but with the burden of blaming someone for something that the person concerned is unknown of.

The next day:

Nupur got up early and was sitting in the verandah with a cup of tea in her hand. She was scared and a bit nervous. So many things were going in her mind so she decided to forget everything for a while and sit in the verandah in the warmth of the slanting sunrays.

Mayank on the other hand was not bothered about anything but was bothered about the fact that that his work was being hampered so he was doing his works sometimes through the phone and sometimes through the laptop.

Nupur was sitting and enjoying the tea when his father entered the Verandah

"Dad ap?"

Saying this Nupur got up from her seat.

"Nupur dekho yeh family bohot achi hai. Agar baat pakki ho jaegi to main tumhe guarantee deta hoon beta tu bohot khush rahegi. Agar tujhe theek nahi lage to tu mana kar dena."

Nupur just nodded her head and slightly smiled.

"But I hope tum mujhe niraash nahi karogi."

Saying this he left from there.

His last sentence had put her into trouble she knew she could not say no to this relation. She just closed her eyes and a lone pair of tear made its way through her cheeks.

Mayank was talking on the phone when Shilpa entered the room along with MAyank's Father.

"Mayank"

Turning around Mayank said

"Yes Dad?"

"Dekh main janta hoon tujhe in sab cheezon mein koi interest nahi hai beta but ab yeh sahi waqt hai. Wo family itni achi hai I am sure ladki use bhi zada achi hogi. Tum is rishte se humesha khush rahoge. I guarantee you beta."

Mayank nodded his head without any expression on his face.

"Beta I hope tum hume niraash nahi karoge."

Saying this hid father left the room.

The sentence put him in a kind of dilemma and he knew he was trapped.

Shilpa just gave him a soothing touch on his shoulder and left because she knew what his son was going through and how he was and how it difficult it was for him.

Nupur was getting dressed for the meeting. She wore the dress she had bought the other day. It was a light green anarkali suit which really complimented the little make up she had applied. Nupur was sitting in her room while all others were busy in checking if everything was perfect or not.

Mayank was ready and was talking on the phone when Shilpa entered the room.

""Mayu tu ready hogya. ."

He signaled her that he needs a minute and moved towards the window.

"Uff is ladke ka kya hoga merit oh samjh nahi ata."

Saying this she sighed.

After talking on the phone he came towards her mother and said

"Han bolo ma."

"Chal neeche tere dad wait kar rahe hai"

"han chalo"

He said while making a face which made it evident that he is not at all interested and he is wasting his time while doing all this.

Nupur was still sitting in her room when Gunjan entered the room and said

"Di wo log agaye tum bas tayyar rehna main jab bulaun to ajana and don't worry job hi hoga ache ke liye hoga."

She said while giving her an assuring smile.

Nupur smiled back and when Gunjan had left the room she closed her eyes and silently prayed to God.

"Hey Bhagwan sab accha karna main kuch specifically nahi mangungi but jo mere liye sahi ho wohi karna. "

She took a deep sigh and went inside the verandahy.

In the drawing room:

Gunjan was in the kitchen and had not seen the. Mayank was finding it really weird as he had been through this. He kept his gaze low as he dint want any eye contact with anyone.

The families were busy talking to each other about various things. The men were talking about work whereas the ladies were talking about different things. Just then Geeta got up and said

"main kuch khaane ko laati hoon."

Saying this she left the room.

"gunjan tu thora ye le ja main ye lekar ati hoon phir main Nupur ko bula laungi"

Gunjan just nodded her head and went out with the tray in her hand. She had a smile on her face but that faded away as soon as she saw the person sitting there . she did not move further but stood there all shocked.

Geeta came from behind and seeing her standing there she said

"Gunjan age bar beta mujhe laga tha abhi tak tune serve bhi kar dia hoga kya soch rahi hai tu?"

She questioned her blankly.

"ha chalti hoon."

Gunjan could not explain her anything so she just decided to move further silently.

As soon as Mayank saw her he felt as if he had seen her before but could not remember where. As he could not remember he dint even tried putting pressure.

Sitting there he was feeling really awkward and softly said to himself

"Ye main kaha phas gaya."

Geeta heard him murmuring and therefore said

"Kuch chahiye Mayank beta?"

Mayank was stunned and a bit shaken and therefore he started fumbling

"Na..nahi aunty."

Geeta just smiled and handed him the quarter plate which had some snacks.

Gunjan was standing there when she felt the need to tell everything to Nupur. She wanted to rush but how could she. It would appear so bad. But she had to do something she had to tell Nupur otherwise it would come to her as a sudden shock which she might not be able to take.

Gunjan gathered courage and said

"Bua, main di ko bula laoon?"

"Nahi ruk main use le ati hoon tu zara yahan nahi dekh."

"nahi main.."

Geeta showed her eyes to her explaining that it was important for her to go.

Gunjan just kept quiet after that while Geeta went up to call Nupur.

Mayank while eating started coughing so gunjan immediately said

"main paani le kar ati hoon."

Saying this she went inside the kitchen and found Nupur there along with Geeta.

"ruk Gunjan Nupur ko paani le jane de tu chai le kar aa."

Gunjan just nodded her head and gave the glass of water to Nupur . While giving her gunjan said

"Di mujhe kuch baat karni hai."

"haan bol"

Nupur said.

Geeta overheard it and immediately cut them in between

"Abhi koi batein nahi. Nupur chal jaldi paani le kar Nikal."

Nupur nodded her head and moved out of the kitchen along with Geeta. GUnjan followed them.

Mayank had stopped coughing and was doing something in his phone when from the corner of his eyes he had seen that the girl had come.

He felt a strange kind of nervousness through which he had never been. He wanted to look but felt as if he was doing a crime.

His head was downwards so she could not see his face and therefore she was unaware of his identity.

MAyank finally gained courage and started looking up slowly while she was coming towards them. He liked the soberness of her dress and then his eyes fell on her face. He could not believe his eyes therefore he shook his head but then he knew who it was. He felt a bit strange he kind of dint know how to react. He was dumbstruck for a while.

Nupur whose gaze was lowered had finally seen him. She started turning pale. She knew what was coming. A storm which would not bring rain to the outside world but only to the bhushan house. She stood there without moving in the halfway when Geeta nearly pushed her forward.Nupur came back to her senses and gave the glass of water to Mayank with trembling hands. He could feel her nervousness and therefore immediately lowered his gaze Nupur turned backwards and touched Shilpa's and then Ashok's feet.

"Geeta Nupur to bohot hi Sundar hai aur pyaari bhi."

Geeta smiled and said

"Haan haan par Mayank bhi kuch kam thodi hi hai."

Mayank just kept his gaze low without any expressions on his and Nupur kept fidgeting with her dupatta in nervousness completely visible on her face.

Just then Geeta worsened the condition for Nupur

"Nupur Mayank ko apna kamra to dekha de."

"haan haan jaldi le kar ja warna iska ye sar phone bajne lagega."

Shilpa said while smiling.
