It's 6 in morning, still riddhima's unconscious, armaan was sitting next to riddhima looking her from last 5-1/2 hours with sad eyes, again and again her screams of last night was raising his heart beats, his heart's aching badly, on other side all the interns was sitting around the cot where their little prince's sleeping, all were looking him without blinking their eyes since the time he's born as if don't want to waste even a single second by blinking their eyes, he's really adorable, actually can't really be expressed in words…
All were looking that angel with lost eyes and smiling to themselves, armaan had asked them several times to go back home and take rest as at 8 they've to come back for their duty but saying "sir bas 5 minutes aur" they again settles on their seat looking continuously at baby and when 5 hours passed they themselves don't know…
After sometime somehow they got up from their seats thinking ab to jaana hi padega, they all wanted to take leave atleast for 2-3 days but due to niki,rohit,AR,keerti-shubhankar absence they're not allowed to take leave, after dragging cot near armaan they said bye and left…. Armaan looked at baby with blank eyes.. who's little awake and was making faces, making baby sounds.. armaan kept on looking him for 5 minutes, then quickly got up dropping his sofa back when saw his baby on the verge of crying and bends down, lightly caressed on his baby's chest so as to make him calm down, then settled on his knees slightly caressed his baby's face which was almost half then his palm size, suddenly….
Vo: armaaannnnn… (armaan turned and was surprised to see Ri-Ch, Ab-Ni, Ro-Pr standing on door, he stood up)
A: (coming in present) tum sab yaha???
Ch: kyu??? nahi aana chahiye tha kya???
(last night riddhima was talking to ritu when she started feeling twinges in her tummy, and as soon as ritu heard her groanings she called chirag and both rushed towards airport, in their way they called ro-pr, ab-ni, rohit prachi was already coming to Mumbai as rohit's conference was over and niki who'd arrived at her house only one hour ago, who hardly was able to meet all her family members stood up and came back with abhi, they only knew that riddhima has been operated, but still nobody knows who'd done her operation, according to them muskaan had handled her case…)
Ri: (came rushing to armaan and hugged him) stupid ye bhi koi puchne ki baat hai.. (with tears in eyes, one tear escaped from armaan eyes too but he quickly cleared the tear) congratulations… papa ban gaya huhh… (caressing his hair, armaan locked his lips under his teeth when reminded how he became father… when reminded riddhima's condition, when reminded the moment when he's having doubt about the survival of their baby, even his life will survive or not he didn't knew…. All hugged him one by one, He closed his palms tightly trying hard not to break in front of anyone….)
Ni: (while detangling from armaan her gaze fell on the cot which was at the back of him, she crossed armaan and while looking at baby and bending down) ohh my myy… (placing her hands on her cheeks and with amusement) kitna sundar hai armaan tumhara baby… oe ritu jaldi se kaajal de aur prachi jaldi se baati le aa najar uttar do iski… (all rushed towards cot pushing armaan aside…. And all were literally looking at baby with lost eyes)
Ri: hayee armaan tera beta to sach much kitna pyara hai….
Pr: hayee kyu laga rahi hai.. par sach mai najar hatane ka mann nahi kar raha, mann kar raha hai bas aise hi dekhte jao… (she lightly caressed his head that made him slightly disturbed… he again made a crying face, at an instant all the 6 bends down and caressed
Him, chirag rolled notes around his body and asked ritu to give that notes to riddhima, ritu turned towards riddhima's bed and placed notes under her pillow and caressed her hair)
Ri: riddhima ko ek baar bhi hosh nahi aaya??? (armaan shaked his head)
Ni: muskan ne kya kaha ki kab tak hosh aa jayega…(armaan looked niki with pain in eyes) tu aise kyu dekh raha hai armaan…. (he turned to other side such that his back was facing)
Ri: armaan (placing her hand on his shoulder) isme dukhi hone waali kaunsi baat hai, bahut si deliveries operation se hoti hai,(she thought that armaan's disturbed coz of riddhima's surgical delivery as he hopped for normal delivery)tu yuhi tension le raha hai riddhima ki, itna pyara sa beta aaya hai bilkul angel jaisa, tujhe to khush hona chahiye aur tu muh latka ke khada hai… khushi nahi hui tujhe itne pyare se bete ki aane ki….
A: kaash mujhe apne bete ke aane par khushi mehsus karne ka mauka mila hota.. (all looked each other questionably) riddhima ka operation maine kiya tha… (somehow he said this and came out from room, all were thinking ye kaise possible ho sakta hai, in between sister lovely came and asked them to leave as only one person's allowed to stay, niki asked sister lovely about riddhima, and sister lovely told them everything, they were having mixed expressions on their faces, sometime shocked, sometimes painful, sometimes angry… now realized the meaning of armaan words, ritu took one step ahead, she wants to meet armaan, but chirag holds her hand and shaked his head, ritu nodded…
It's exactly 9 a.m, muskaan entered in hospital in hurry, rahul was following her, atul, anjali also entered in hospital, muskaan after signing in register..
Mu: sister lovely riddhima kaha hai???
S.L: (with a disappointing face) room no.-9 mai… (all the 4 rushed towards room, on the verge of entering, when)
A: (who was standing near window outside the room) don't you dare to step in…(all the
4 stopped and looked at armaan with surprise, he stood up with a deep coldness in his eyes for them)
Mu: armaan dekh abhi faaltu baato ka waqt nahi hai, mujhe riddhima ke check-up… (before she could complete, she received a very tight slap on her face from armaan, she's shocked literally, anjali,atul,rahul came forward for protesting, armaan looked them with anger, anjali, atul stopped as they're seeing this face, this anger of armaan for the first time, but..)
Ra: how dare you.. (holding his collar, armaan threw his hand with the same force with which he slapped muskaan)
A: bahut dard hua huhhh…. (rahul makes a "teda" face) par mujhse jayda nahi hua hoga… jo harkat iss ne ki hai na uske ye thappad kya, hazaaro thappad bhi maar lo wo bhi kam hai… (he gave muskaan a disgusted look)
At: par armaan muskaan ne aisa kiya kya hai…
A: (again with disgusted look) it's none of your business dr. atul, so just stay out of it and don't you dare to interfere again… (atul was shocked to hear those words from armaan)
An: armaan…
A: (ignoring her) dostiyan to kya nibhaoge, tum to insaniyat bhi na dikha sakhe…
Ra: jo khud jaanwaro se bhi gaya gujra ho wo insaaniyat ki baatein kar raha hai… (putting arm around muskaan)
A: abhi to maine jayda kuch kiya hi nahi dr. rahul, warna tumhari kal ki harkat ke baad mai to kya koi bhi tumhe shayad jaan se maar daalta… (almost shouting) jo tumne meri biwi aur mere bete ke saath kiya hai usse mai kabhi nahi bhulunga…
An: beta??? (in between ritu holds armaan arms)
Ri: armaan baby bahut ro raha hai, chup hi nahi ho raha, kya karein???
At: baby??? kiska baby????
Ni: (came towards door holding baby who's crying aloud) armaan…
A: (looking at baby and placing his hand on his little chest cum belly) niki kya hua isse… (all of a sudden baby stopped crying, all were surprised, baby was quiet calm)
Ni: armaan riddhima ko blood chadana padega, uska bahut blood loss ho chukka hai, may be issi wajah se wo unconscious hai..
Mu: riddhima ki delivery ho chukki hai????
A: riddhima ka naam apne jubaan se lena bhi mat dr. muskaan….
An:(in a worried voice) par riddhima ki delivery ki kisne???
A: tumhe samajh nahi aata mai kya keh raha hun dr. anjali, please ye jhooti chinta dikha kar naatak karne ki jarurat nahi hai, tumhare sabke asli chehre raat ko hi saamne aa gaye the…
An: armaan ye tum kya keh rahe ho, kaise chinta na karun she's my..(she stopped)
A: wo tumhari kuch nahi hai dr. anjali, wo sirf meri hai… (muskaan again tried to go in, but chirag,abhi,rohit stood in their way)
Ch: dr. muskaan .. sorry muskaan, doctor to tum ho hi nahi sakti.. doctors kabhi itne irresponsible nahi hote…
Ra: chirag jubaan sambaal kar baat kar…
A: tumhari biwi ne kuch aisa chodda hai jo iss se aaram se baat ki jaani chahiye… itna bhi kya jaruri kaam aa gaya tha jo raat ko 100 calls mai se 1 call ka bhi jawab nahi de sake….
At: ye log jamashtmi banane gaye hue the may be shor mai sunaya na diya ho……(rahul slightly pinched atul for blurting out the truth)
A: (looked at the duo, they started looking down)aur jab dekh liya hospital; se phone aa raha hai to switch off kar diya…itni dikkat hai hospital se to aate kyu ho, just resign from hospital…
Ra: you are crossing your limts armaan….
A: aur jo tum dono ne kiya wo kya tha, agar muskaan ki delivery ke waqt riddhima aise hi apni duty chod jaati aur uski wajah se tumhare bache ko kuch ho jaata…
Ra: armaannnn..(he almost shouted)
Ri: (coming forward) sochne ke naam se hi darr gaye, aur jo insaan iss dard se nikla ho uski haalat kya hui hogi andaaja hai tumhe???
Ni: aaj tumhara bacha sirf riddhima ki wajah se hai tumhare paas, warna wo kabhi iss duniya mai aata hi na…. marr gaya hota tumhara bacha… (rahul raised his arm for slapping niki but abhi holds his hand and threw it down and muskaan was almost in tears thinking about her baby who was the reason for her survival)
Ro: sach par itna gussa, muskaan ko pre-eclampsia tha, hardly chance tha ki baby survive kar jaye, par riddhima ne uss tough delivery ko bhi itna aasan bana diya jaise ki normal delivery ho, achi tarah yaad hai hume uski haalat kya hoti thi, saara time sirf muskaan ki chinta, iske liye saara din search karti thi ki kaise precautions liye jaaye taaki isse problem na ho, sirf uski wajah se tumhari beti tumhare pass hai, dr. keerti khud kehti thi ki riddhima jaisi mehnat to wo shayad khud bhi na kar paati aur tumne ussi riddhima ki normal delivery ko itna dard se bhar diya, sharam nahi aayi ek baar bhi aisa karte hue….
Ra: (looking at muskaan who's crying badly and for defending her) hume sapne nahi aa rahe the ki riddhima ko pains start ho gaye hai.. (armaan was on the verge of punching him when chirag holds his arm)
Ch: armaan chod yaar kisse keh raha hai, jo apna imaan hi bech chukke ho unhe kya kehna….(armaan nodded)
A: (with pain in voice) inhe kehde yaar ye yaha se challe jaye,(armaan turned then again) yaad rakhna kal raat jitni riddhima ki chikhein nikli hai unn chikhon ka hissab to tumhe dena hi hoga,meri riddhima ki normal delivery ko itna mushkil banane ke liye ki wo jinda rahegi ya nahi ye bhi nahi pata tha, mere bache ke janam ko itna mushkil banane ke liye ki wo duniya dekh bhi payega ya nahi ye nahi pata tha…. iske liye tumhe hisab dena hi hoga….
At: armaan tu hume bhi milne nahi dega riddhima se, hum to tere dost..
A: (turned back with vigor) dost aur tum….(he smiled fakely) mere doston se milna chahte ho to milo, ye hai ritu-chirag(pointing to them) jinhe confirmed nahi pata tha ki riddhima pain mai hai, phir bhi goa se raat ko hi flight li subah tak ka intejar nahi hua, itni badi party thi inke ghar par wo bhi unhone at a moment cancel kar di… ye hai niki-abhi (pointing to them) niki jo 4 saalo se apni family se milne ke liye tadap rahi thi, kal pehli baar mili thi unse,
par 1 ghante baad hi waha se waapis Mumbai ke liye nikal padi, ye hai prachi-rohit, jinka kitna mann tha switzerland ghumne ka, unhe samjha kar bhi bheja tha ki yaha hum sab sambhal lenge par phir bhi ye log waapis aa gaye ye jaante hue bhi ki shayad unhe aage kabhi Switzerland aane ka mauka na mile.. ye hai mere dost aur tum… tumhara to yaha se ghar ka distance 10-10 minute ka tha, tum yaha tak na aa paye, bahut achi hai dosti tumhari….mujhe ghinn aa rahi hai khud se, meri jindagi ki sabse badi bhul thi jab maine tum jaise logo ko apna dost maana, kabhi apni jindagi maana tha..(finally he turned… atul anjali felt guilty deeply….though rahul and muskaan was also feeling guilty yet they behaved very normal… they received page from dr. keerti, so they left… in between niki told armaan about his baby's crying, armaan finally goes inside,he's a bit relaxed in heart after slapping muskaan though he wants to say a lot, but understanding the delicacy of moment he stopped,..)
A: (looking at baby) niki ye itna ro kyu raha hai.. (baby again calmed down but as soon as he stopped, baby's crying gets more loud..)
Ni: shayad bhuk lagi hai…
A: to ab kya karein??? (baby again calmed down a bit… armaan noticed the change) niki baby ko mujhe do…
Ni: par ye tumse chup nahi hoga, ye bahut impatient ho raha hai bhuk ke kaaran…
A: ek baar do to… (he took baby from her hands carefully, and mumbled) bass mera baby.. (slightly kissing on his cheeks, baby calmed down a lot,)
Ni: are wah teri goddi mai aakar to ek dum chup ho gaya…
A: kaise chup nahi hoga apne papa ki goddi mai aake..
Ni: (smiled a bit) aakansha to abhi ki goddi mai aakar aur jor se rone lag jaati thi… (armaan didn't reply, just kept on looking baby then riddhima, ritu entered in room with a bottle of milk and handled it to niki, niki tried to feed baby with bottle but he kept on shaking his head and started crying loudly again, niki removed bottle, ritu said why don't we try with spoon and bowl, niki nodded, but again baby didn't opened his mouth, niki looked at ritu, then at ridhima, then armaan, then riddhima and asked ritu with eyes ab kya karein, then points to armaan with eyes…. As if armaan had understood their silence)
A: niki tum isse pakdo, mai abhi aata hun…( he tried to handle his son to niki but baby with his tiny hands was holding armaan's shirt tightly and as soon as niki touched him he again started crying, armaan for once felt not to leave baby then realizing that he must be hungry and needs to be feeded too… niki again tried to take him but this time armaan rather then giving baby to niki, he moved towards riddhima's bed and makes a little place and placed baby very near to riddhima such that his body's constantly touching riddhima's body, baby's again calmed down when holds riddhima's suit and tried to twist his neck towards riddhima when felt the known touch…. Armaan was not surprised with this act as he remembered riddhima's words very well… he again bends down a little and kissed on his forehead, then looked at riddhima, touched her head too with his lips and slightly rests his face on her forehead for a moment, then detangled his shirt from his baby's hand and came out from room, settled on bench with closed eyes….
Inside the room baby was becoming more impatient when felt no movements from riddhima, he started crying with his hands constantly hitting on riddhima little above her belly, before ritu and niki could do anything else they're surprised to see little movements in riddhima's hands, ritu came out rushing with happiness…
Ri: riddhima ko hosh aa raha hai…(all rushed inside room except armaan, he kept on sitting, tears rolled down from his eyes, On other side riddhima's hands started moving, she was coming in senses was able to hear crying of baby, this time when baby again again hitted her, his hand strucked in riddhima's little fingure and he clutched fingure tightly… in riddhima some vibes moved through out her body which was forcing her to open eyes… she too clutched that little hand and opened her eyes slightly with the unknown power that'd forced her to wake up from her deep sleep…. She looked here and there with confused eyes, still due to weekness her vision was not clear, then looked
down and placed her hand on belly, tried to search for something, again closed her eyes tried to remember what happened last night….
Hamara bacha kaha hain, wo theek to haina…. And again opened her eyes when felt some cuddling on her tummy, she twisted her head a bit and looked down and saw baby who was almost lying in the gap between her waist and bed, constantly moving his hands,his one hand was tightly holding her little fingure…. She tried to twist but felt ache due to stitches, she moved her other hand on baby, first caressed his head with all the love and then dragged him more close to herself, wants to take him in her arms but as if her body was jammed, was not allowing her to move a bit, she smiled a bit when saw baby with his tiny mouth started sucking her arm… she again caressed him, and closed her eyes, still she's partly conscious…. Niki came near her..
Ni: riddhima kaisi ho???(she again opened her eyes)
R: tum yaha???
Ri: congratulations mumma, itne pyare se bete ko janam dene ke liye…(riddhima smiled a bit, then looked around and found everyone standing around her bed… but her eyes was searching for someone else, she looked everywhere but found someone missing) kya hua???
R: armaannnn.. (all the faces came down..)
Ni: wo abhi bhi thoda sa dara hua hai… (riddhima was firstly confused and then she reminded their last night, armaan's condition, his helpless eyes, his fear, when she asked him to save their child and she with full force got up as an instant without caring for her stitches) riddhima itni jor se, stitches khul jayenge aur pain bhi hoga..
R: armaan kahan hai…(almost shouting)
Ri: riddhima aaram se, itna mat chillao strain padega…
R: mujhe abhi armaan se milna hai…(niki tried to calm her) bilkul abhi, warna mai khud jaa rahi hun… (she placed her hand on drip and tried to open the bandage, ritu holds her hand) armaan kaha hai.. usse bula lao please… pata nahi kaisa hoga…
Ri: riddhima relax wo theek hai… dekh niki bulane gayi hai usse…(riddhima's heart beat raised a lot thinking about armaan, she's becoming more impatient with the passing of each second)
R: wo aa kyu nahi raha..
Ri: riddhima thodi si patience rakh aa hi raha hoga..
R: par… (she stopped when)
Ni: riddhima… (she looked towards door and found armaan standing at the back of niki, sometimes looking her and sometimes down, his face was very well expressing his feelings though he's trying hard not to express but how can he hide anything from riddhima…
riddhima opened her arms widely, armaan looking at opened arms finally breaks and quickly ran to her and hides himself in her arms and his pain started coming out from his eyes, everyone left their room, riddhima kept on caressing his back and his crying was getting loud, riddhima too started crying but wiped her own tears and patted his back with all the love and hugged him as tight as she can…
R: bas jaan… (armaan kept on crying, she slightly detangled herself from him and cupped his face.. and wiped his tears and kissed on his eyes) I'm proud of you armaan, jo tumne kiya wo to kabhi koi aur kar hii nahi sakta, you are my superman… (armaan again hugged her tightly and shifted partially over her, still crying badly, riddhima showered many kisses on his head in order to comfort him and remained patting on his back… he's really terrified, still shaking… riddhima thought muskaan armaan ko iss situation mai laane ke liye mai tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karungi….)
After few minutes armaan moved his arm around her waist and his one arm was at her back, his head was buried in her shoulders, riddhima didn't said a word just kept on caressing his hair, she knew that rather then her words her silence will heal him better…she again stretched out on bed such that armaan was partly on her, as her body was not allowing her to sit, she kept on caressing him, In the warmth of her arms armaan'd simply forgot everything, his pain started dissolving and when he goes to sleep he doesn't know, riddhima slightly kissed him on ear lobe… there was knock at door, riddhima cleared her tears and very carefully removed armaan's arm from her waist.. and mumbled come in… one nurse opened the door…
Nu: dr. riddhima aapki dressing karni hai… (riddhima nodded, nurse came towards her and tried to wake armaan)
R: ssshhhh… inhe kyu utha rahi ho????
Nu: aapki dressing karni hai to inhe to bahar jaana hoga…
R: aap aise hi dressing kar dijiye na sister..
Nu: aapko problem.. (instantly shaking her head, nurse moved to her but baby started crying loudly… riddhima turned with surprise thinking mera bacha.. abhi to maine usse dekha bhi nahi… she twisted her head and slightly moved her body too and for the first time looked at his son in her full senses…. Her eyes was almost strucked on him..)dr. riddhima dressing..
(she didn't reply, just kept on looking him, she slightly dragged his
Sheet little above so that she could see him properly, baby's crying was getting louder, riddhima caressed his face in order to calm him, and all of a sudden her fingure touched his lips to which he started sucking her fingure little tightly, riddhima breaked from thoughts realizing that their child is very hungry, that's why he's crying a lot…she tried to get up but her stitches almost killed her, she groaned with pain, but can't look her child in tears too…
Nu: dr. riddhima aap leti rahiye, nahi to dressing nahi ho payegi…
R: sister aap meri dressing baad mai kar dijiyega please…(patting on baby's tummy, but his crying get louder) bas mera betu, mumma ko pata hai aapko bhukki lagi hai, wait a minute baby… bass…(she again tried to get up, but again felt ached, sister slightly raised her bed such that her body was in sitting position, then sister tried to hold baby) aaram se, iski neck ko support dena aur haath bhi…
nurse smiled at her possessiveness and shaked her head… riddhima made herself a little more comfortable and opened her arms very impatiently, asked sister to handle him to her….and as soon as she placed their son in her arms, her heart beats started thumping, she brought her arms closed to herself, one tear escaped out of happiness from her eyes, she was fearing if baby won't get hurt as he's really very delicate, though she'd handled many baby's but handling their own child was totally a different feeling…
she's smiling looking him, baby also stopped crying for a moment when felt some known touch, his little eyes was exploring the face of the person who made him feel secure… he looked at riddhima, riddhima bring him very close to herself and kissed him on his head…again started looking him, and baby again started crying… riddhima bites her tongue and mumbled sorry, par betu mumma aapko pehli baar dekh rahi hai, time to lagega na, uppar se aap itne pyare ho mann hi nahi kar raha mumma ka kuch bhi karne ka aapko dekhne ke alava….
Then looked at nurse, she first looked at armaan, riddhima with eyes said unhe yehi rehne do… nurse left the room dragging curtains in front of door… riddhima mumbled bass mera baby… and the moment she started feeding his little angel, what she felt at that time can't really be expressed in words, a kind of satisfaction she felt deep inside her body that she'd never felt before, she closed her eyes for a moment, then opened her eyes, looked at her baby with teary eyes, today she felt total completeness in herself,
she with one fingure caressed baby but he's so busy in filling his tummy that he didn't responded, riddhima smiled when saw his impatience and realized how much hungry he's…. this was totally a new feeling for her, feeling of motherhood really does wonders, it really makes you feel complete in every sense she thought.. and slightly caressed armaan's cheek and mumbled thanku jaan meri life ko pura karne ke liye, tumhare bina sab kuch adhura reh jaata… baby goes to sleep now after taking a loud burp which again made riddhima laughed in that pain also…. And again kissed on his cheeks…. She's satisfied from deep, her soul too was satisfied and this can be seen on her face which was glowing like anything besides she's having lot of weekness in her…

A: stupid tum to leti raho, stitches lage hue hai, hilna bhi mat…
R: bina hile suit kaise change hota hai armaan???
A: mai change karta hun, tumhe hilne ki jarurat nahi hai… (riddhima looked him with surprise)
