What's a celebration without a fun-filled contest? So, the Fanfiction Development Team brings you a Mood Board designing contest - The Pride Pallate!

What is a Mood Board? A mood board is a visual presentation or 'collage' consisting of images, text, and samples of objects in a composition. A mood board can convey a general idea or feeling about a particular topic.

The size of the canvas should be 1280*1280 pixels.

Pick any one theme and stick to images representing the theme.

Themes - same-sex relationships, transgender, asexuality, bisexuality, pansexuality, Demisexuality, gender nonconforming, non-binary, gender fluid, intersex, pride parade

Make sure you include at least 9 images. The sizes of the images can be anything within the canvas.

You can include images of characters from shows/ movies if they are canonically established to be from that community (e.g. if the theme is bisexuality, Nick from Heartstopper/Netflix can be included, or if the theme is transgender then Nomi from Sense 8/Netflix can be included).

Offscreen pictures of celebrities are not allowed even if they are from the community.

Morphed/AI-generated images are not allowed.

You can send a maximum of 5 entries, either of one theme or different themes.

Text isn't compulsory. But you can add any text that is related to the theme.

The graphics should be NON-ANIMATED.

Do not put your copyright on the graphics.

The mood boards will be judged by a panel of judges.

Upload your entries on [www.imgur.com] or [www.postimages.org] or any uploading site that supports images (please ensure that your account is not visible in the link or your account is not public - like with Photobucket links).

The deadline for sending your entries is 25th June 2024, 11:59 pm IST Via PM to FFEditors. Keep the subject field as "Pride Palette Submission”

Kindly mention the theme names of your entries in your PM.

1. Can we make 5 (up to 5) moodboards, each with a different theme?

Yes you can, but kindly send all in single PM.

2. Should my moodboard only have pictures of characters from the community?

When we say mood boards, we want the theme to be explored by pictures, not just characters. That involves things like flags, aesthetic pictures, quotes, etc.

In this example, see how the whole theme of "Desi" is explored, not just via pictures of humans, but other things that hint at "Desi" too.
