Riddhima was waiting for armaan from past 30 minutes, she looked at time then mumbled armaan kya kar raha hai, ATM se hi to paise nikalne the, 2 minute lagte hai.. (she dialed his number but unreachable) she mumbled ab waha signals nahi aa rahe honge..she waited for 5 minutes, then get down from car mumbling ye armaan bhi na...pata nahi kya karne baith gaya hai, paise nikalne the banane nahi the…. (she crosses the road and entered in bank, looked in ATM cabin but didn't found him, she felt strange, then goes inside bank…. Right in front of her eyes he's standing, talking to someone… she smiled and shaked her head, start moving near him, little moving close she realized that they're not talking, they were fighting…
A: (in anger) aisa kaise ho sakta hai???
Person: hume kya pata sahib, hamari koi responsibility nahi hai…
A: aise kaise nahi hai… jab.. ( riddhima from back called armaaannnn… he stopped and turned.. riddhima noticed a very disturbed look on his face… he again turned his face such that his back was facing her… he was thinking ab riddhima ko kya kahunga… riddhima moved close to him.. and stood in front of him)
R: armaan kya hua??? (with slight fear)
A: kuch.. kuch bhi to nahi…(looking down and his hands were clutched tightly) challo, late ho gaye hai, kahi flight miss na ho jaye… ( trying to not to face the reality, trying to not to think about the past few minutes, nothing he wants to think…he holds her hand and start moving towards door.. his eyes was filled, little away from door ridhima pulled her hand back from his hand… armaan looked him..then down)
R: armaan kya hua hai??? Tumhari aankhein itni dabdabai si kyu hai, tum itne bokhlaaye se kyu ho???? kya hua hai???
A: kuch nahi… (still looking down….) flight… (riddhima holds his face.. and raised it)
R: look at me armaan… look… dekho meri taraf… (armaan raised his eyes) kya hua hai batao armaan??? Tum unn uncle se kyu aise baat kar rahe the???
A: wo bas..
R: armaan tell me the truth…. (little strictly, armaan gave her small paper… riddhima looked it confusingly.. then found that it's the mini transaction statement of atm… she looked it for once then thinking kya hua.. then again read carefully and was surprised, looked at armaan questionably..) armaaannnn…
A: (trying hard not to break…)hamare account mai sirf 10,000 rupees reh gaye hai…
R: aisa kaise ho sakta hai???? (one person interrupted in between, may be watchman)
Person: ye to aap hi bta sakti hai mam, kyunki parso ko maine aapko yaha dekha tha aur last transaction bhi parso hi hui hai… to bataiye ki kaise inke account mai sirf 10,000 rupees reh gaye…( before riddhima could understand, armaan)
A: ye aap kya keh rahe hai??? Do you know who she is??? She is my wife (that man cut him in between)
Person: par jo bhi hoga questions to inse hi puchega, kyunki maine parso inhe yaha dekha hai aur parso hi aapke account se 25.4 lakhs ki transaction hui hai… waise bhi wife hua to kya, aajkal paiso ke liye to koi bhi kissi ko bhi dhoka de sakta hai. (before he could speak anything more, he received a very tight slap… riddhima holds his hand)
R: armaan…. (before she could speak anything more, many people came and surrounded them…)
Manager: ye kya batmiji hai???
A: mujhse nahi aap inse puchiye, (pointing to person) jinhe bolne ki tameej nahi hai, agar help nahi kar sakte to kissi ke matter mai bolne ka koi hak nahi hai inhe… jo inka kaam hai wo to inse hota nahi, lawyer bankar questions puch rahe hai… hum waise hi bahut pareshan hai aur ye.. (riddhima tried to calm him, holding his hand..armaan looked her, riddhima shaked her head.. Manager looked at watchman)
Person: sir inke account se parso ko 25.4 lakhs ki transaction hui hai, aur ye keh rahe hai ki inhe iss baare mai kuch nahi pata, aisa kaise ho sakta hai…. Aur parso hi inki wife yaha aayi thi transaction ke liye, to maine to sirf inse itna kaha ki aap apni wife se puchiye ki aapke paise kaha gaye, kyunki bank ki isme koi responsibility nahi hai…
Armaan again clutched his fist, riddhima holds him tightly and said..
R: maine jo transaction ki thi wo subah ki thi, par last transaction evening 5:17 par hui hai, kya aapne mujhe uss waqt yaha dekha tha???? (looking at watchman.. though she was not in mood to say anything about it or to give explanation to that unknown person but still for the sake of armaan she said this so that the person shuts his mouth)
Person: (thinks a bit then remembered he'd seen her in morning, not in evening) ji nahiii..
Manager: we are so sorry sir, sorry mam…aap cabin mai aaiye..
Cabin…
Manager: ji sir hum aapki koi help nahi kar sakte…
R: kya kissi tarah ye pata nahi chal sakta ki ye transaction kisne karwai hai aur kaise karwai hai…
Manager: no mam, agar recipt fill karke kisi ne paise nikale hote to surely pata rehta, par
ATM to 24 hours service hai aur kab kaun aa raha hai uska hum record maintain nahi karte… hamari koi responsibility nahi hoti…. Aur ye transaction tabhi ho sakti hai ya aapka ATM card chori ho gaya ho aur uss par password likha ho..
A: par hamara ATM card ye raha…
Manager: koi aapka apna jisse password pata ho??
A: nahi mere aur meri wife ke alava kissi ko nahi pata tha password ke baare mai..
Manager: bahut mushkil hai infact namumkin hi hai ye pata karna ki kissne ye transaction ki hai.. jis waqt ye transaction hui hai uss waqt bank bhi band ho gaya tha, isliye watchman bhi nahi tha gate par, nahi to thoda sa chance tha ki kuch pata chal sake, par ab to…
R: kya police complaint..
Manager: (cutting her) koi faida nahi hoga, phir bhi agar khud ki tassalli ke liye ap karna chahti hai to kar sakti hai, par wo bhi kya kareinge….(riddhima looked at armaan , both stood up, and came out of bank, very heavy hearted, thinking if they're not seeing a dream….
Driver start moving towards airport, she asked driver to turn towards home, armaan looked her but didn't said anything…. both entered in their house, armaan fell on sofa… riddhima herself was not getting what to say him, obviously a shock for both of them, their money which they had earned after doing a lot of hard work was lost in just one transaction…. One second…. Armaan was again and again thinking ye kaise ho sakta hai, riddhima aur mere alava to koi aur password jaanta hi nahi tha, aur ATM card to mere pass hi rehta hai har waqt to ye kaise possible hai….. he's rather more shocked than riddhima,in his shock the tension for their future was also mixed… what will they do now….
Armaan didn't open his mouth till evening, he's just lost thinking what will be their future… he pinched himself many times to ensure if he's not sleeping, riddhima was also in a daze, around 9 o'clock riddhima settled next to armaan holding plate of dinner and took one bite, bought near his mouth, but he got up..
A: mujhe bhuk nahi hai riddhima… (turned to go)
R: (holds his hand) armaan thoda sa, dekho jayda nahi layi hun.. please thoda sa… subah se kuch nahi khaya hai tumne…. (she pulled his hand and feeded him, armaan somehow gulped the food.. then goes in room..... without saying a word he put off the lights, next day also there was hardly any talk between armaan riddhima, at night when armaan kept on changing his sides till 3o'clock, then riddhima got up and settled herself taking the
support of wall and placed his head in her lap,
first armaan said no but she with authority placed his head and kept on caressing his hair…. after sometime armaan turned towards her with his head touching her tummy.. and tightly clutching her from waist, he broke down… tears came out from his eyes… riddhima eyes was also filled but she didn't let her tears came out, looked up at wall so that her tears get back from where they came and kept on caressing armaan's hair and back….
A: riddhima ye kya ho raha hai, mujhe kuch bhi samajh nahi aa raha, 1 hi pal mai sab khatam ho gaya, hum ab kya karienge, kaise raha karienge… hamara future kya hoga??? Koi aur source bhi nahi hai…
R: armaan itna mat socho…. Sab theek ho jayega…
A: (cutting her in between) riddhima tum samjh nahi rahi ho, hamare pass koi aur source of income nahi hai… 10,000 only 10,000 riddhima, kaise karienge manage…
R: ssshhhh…. Ab tum chup chap meri baat suno, armaan kya tumhe lagta hai ki aise pareshan hokar, na khaana khaakar saara din soch soch kar hume kuch milega..
A: riddhima 25 lakhs.. kya tumhe seriously lagta hai ki jhatka nahi lagna chahiye, pareshan nahi hona chahiye, humne usse earn kiya tha riddhima…. Kitna time lagta hai earn karne mai aur gayab hone mai 1 second bhi nahi lgaya… aur samajh nahi aa raha ye sb hua kaise… aur tum keh rahi ho pareshan na ho, kaise na pareshan ho… itna sab earn karne ke baad bhi ab humara future secure nahi raha, khaane ke liye bhi hardly paise.. (he stopped thinking about it…)
R: to kya pareshaan hone se paise waapis aa jayenge armaan??? maana bhulna mushkil hoga par itna bhi mushkil nahi hai… hum dono hi earning hands hai armaan aur next month hi hume salary mil jayegi, phir koi dikkat nahi hoyegi…dheere dheere karke hum phir jod lenge… koi problem nahi hogi armaan, ek baar soch kar to dekho, paise to hamesha aate jaate rehte hai, aaj hai kal nahi, phir aa jayenge…
A: riddhima ye sab kehne mai acha lagta hai, par tumhe bhi pata hai na ki aaj kal paisa har mod par chahiye hota hai, kuch nahi hota without money….
R: I agree armaan, par hum thoda time manage kar sakte hai.. sirf 1 month ki baat hai uske baad phir sab normal ho jayega, 1 month to hum nikal hi sakte hai…aur itni dikkat nahi hogi armaan iss month mai bhi…
A: (smiled fakely) kaha hume sochna nahi padta tha, aur ab hum ye soch rahe hai ki iss month mai gujara kaise hoga… waqt kaise ek minute mai palat jaata hai….
R: armaan agar negative sochna chahte ho to bahut points mil jayenge sochne ke liye jo tumhe pareshan karne ke alava kuch nahi karienge, par ek baar positive to sochkar dekho. Tumhara darr, tumhari pareshani khud gayab ho jayegi… sirf ek baar sochkar dekho…. (she placed her hand on his eyes) armaan sirf positive sochna hai, negative ko aas pass mat bhatakne dena….. (and after few minutes she found him asleep, a bit relaxed she was…)
Next morning….
Armaan was slightly feeling better thinking shayad riddhima theek hi keh rahi hai, we should atleast try, agar yuhi baithe rahe to jo hai wo bhi kho jayega, iss se better hai hume hospital jaana chahiye aur kaam karna chahiye… be practical armaan, aise muh latka kar baithe rehne se kuch nahi hoga…himmat haarna tune kabhi seekha nahi hai Aur riddhima bhi saath hai to darr kyu raha hai… lets face the situation… thinking this he got up from bed, and got ready..
R: (surprised a bit) armaan tum kahi jaa rahe ho kya???
A: tum nahi hum, we're going to hospital for duty…
R: okk, mai abhi ready hokar aati hun… (she turned,)
A: riddhimaa….
R: (turning back) huhhh…
A: riddhima abhi hum kissi ko disclose nahi karienge ki… (he stopped)
R: par sabko kaheinge kya??? I mean hum 15 days ki leave par hai to..
A: to… (he thought a bit) kya kahienge??? (looked at riddhima)
R: tickets ghum ho gayi… (armaan shaked his head to say no..)
A: kissi ne tumhara purse chori kar liya jisme hamara passport, tickets thi…
R: haan ye theek rahega… (riddhima again turned to go, but thinking something he again twisted back and goes near him) tum aise hi ache lagte ho armaan with confidence on face, udasi aur pareshani tumhare chehre par bilkul achi nahi lagti…
A: I promise mai tumhe Europe jarur ghuma kar launga, iss baar to waqt ne dhoka de diya… agli baar nahi dhoka dene dunga…(riddhima nodded and hugged him…. After sometime both left for hospital..)
In hospital everyone was surprised to see armaan riddhima, then riddhima told them what happened…. Niki pulled riddhima and in her ears mumbled..
Ni: tune armaan se baat ki??? Kuch pata challa wo sanyasiyon ki tarah kyu behave kar
raha hai????
R: (smiled a little) nai niki actually..
Ni: (cutting her) haan abhi time nahi mila hoga na, tum dono ka mood off hoga na, Europe jaane ke liye tum kitne excited the, par… (then looked at riddhima and said) oe yaar kuch nahi hota Europe kaunsa kahi bhag raha hai, phir challe jaana…(riddhima nodded)
First day passed very normal, armaan though thought about that incident but a little, riddhima remained doing chit-chat with him so that he won't think about that again, though she knew it's very difficult to forget, it's not that much little amount that a person would forget in 3-4 days… 2-3 passed, quiet normal….coz there was hardly any incident related to money…
one day…
Ni: iss week lohri hai, party kaha rakheinge, aur dress code kya hoga???
Ro: dress code rakheinge lehnga for girls, for boys sherwaani…
Ni: teri baarat aa rahi hai kya?? Pichle saal waala hi dress code rakheinge.. kyu riddhima?
R: haan lohri par lohri ke according hi dress achi lagegi… (rohit atlast agreed)
Ni: to riddhima iss baar kaunse color ka suit legi, last time yaad hai saare logon ki nahrein tumpar hi teeki hui thi, bahut cute lag rahe the tum dono, aur kaunsi shop se liya tha suit??? Aur kitne ka tha??? I think 5000 ka tha na, tune shayad bataya tha…
Ro: kya jnaniyon waali baatein kar rahi hai, doctors ki tarah behave kar… (niki makes a face, riddhima felt uneasy and armaan was lost in last year, their first lohri, gifts, shopping, celebrations and what about this year, armaan got up frm his seat and left without saying a word..)
Ni: isse kya ho gaya, (turning to riddhima) tune abhi tak uss se baat nahi ki na…
R: mai thodi der mai milti hun niki…
Ni: uss se baat karne jaa rahi hai, guddd… jaa…
Riddhima without looking around straightway goes to fire escape, and found him sitting on last step, in deep thoughts… riddhima just settled next to him, and placed her head on his shoulder…
R: armaan sab theek ho jayega, don't worry… (armaan nodded, though feeling bad, after few minutes their pader start ringing, they goes at reception where dr. keerti was waiting
for them…)
Ke: dr. armaan and dr. riddhima kal hi ek new patient admit hui hai mrs. Sheekha she's 8 months pregnant, but reports ke according unhe brain tumour hai, tumour jayda bada nahi hai easily operate kiya jaa sakta hai, but agar ab operate kiya to missgarrage ke chances 90% hai… to operation delivery ke baad hi hoga, tab tak aap log apni samajhdari se iss case ko handle karienge, kaunsi medication deni hai, kab kaunsa diagnose dena hai ki tumour bhi na badhe aur unke baby par bhi koi assar na ho.. ye sab aap dono ko handle karna hai, am I clear???

Ke: reception se unki reports collect kar lijiye, case study karke, aap log kya diagnose dene waale hai aur kyu.. ye report banakar mujhe 2 ghnate mai mere cabin mai miliye… (armaan, ridhima nodded and left)
2 hours they remain seated in fire escape and keep discussing about their case,finally prepared report which dr. keerti appreciated and asked them to start with their treatment..
armaan riddhima when came out from cabin hugged each other for getting opportunity to
work together after a very long time….armaan mood was again settled, but for a little time… armaan and riddhima was discussing about the treatment, when niki entered in canteen…
Ni: oe tum logo ne socha hai ki ritu chirag ko unki anniversary par kya dena hai????
R: nahi abhi tak to kuch bhi nahi socha….
Ni: to kab sochoge unki anniversary ke baad????
R: nikiii….
Ni: armaan tune kuch socha hai??? (Armaan shaked his head.)
niki missed that line which he used to say whenever they discussed about gifts… whenever niki asks for armaan's opinion he always says haan aisa gift socha hai ki dekhne waale hairan reh jayenge, all look at him curiously, and he says isse hi pack karke de do, waise bhi bekaar hai hamare liye, niki alwas makes a face and says riddhima ko na de dein pack karke…
armaan says oe kissi ki gifted cheez kabhi kissi aur ko nahi dete… niki says ohh acha riddhima bhi gifted hai, armaan says haan na bhagwan ne gift kiya hai usse mujhe bade pyar se, kyunki wo mujhe bahut pyar karte haina, isliye mujhe duniya ka sabse acha aur precious gift diya jiski koi keemat nahi hai, beshkeemati tohfa… (riddhima always get emotional on this line, niki also feels speechless) aur hum ritu, chirag se jayda pyar nahi karte isliye usse sabse bekaar gift de rahein hai, local made… (all starts laughing, and niki just fry…)she smiled….
R: kya hua niki, tu hass kyu rahi hai??? (niki came out of her thoughts)
Ni: tujhse to mai baad mai baat karti hun, pehle unka gift decide karte hai, kyun na unhe hum baby set gift kar dein, waise bhi 2 months baad to uski delivery hai hi, maine dekha tha baby set galaxy world mai, 90,000 ka hai, what say??? 30,000 each family…. Prachi ko bhi pasand hai, tum batao….
A: riddhima mrs. Sheekha ka dawai ka time ho gaya hai, mai special ward jaa raha hun…
Ni: riddhima tu uss se baat kyu nahi karti hai yaar, itna sada hua kyu rehta hai, humne to usse kuch kaha bhi nahi, phir kyu theek se baat nahi karta??
R: ( baat karne ke liye mood bhi to hona chahiye, waise hi wo pareshan rehta hai kaise baat karun, she thought in heart) niki thoda time aur de de yaar, jaise hi time milega mi baat karungi uss se… chal mai milti hun tujhse thodi der mai… bye… (she stood up before she could ask anything else… she goes in special ward)
R: armaan sheekha kaha hai???
A: (who was lost in thoughts, came in present) MRI test… (riddhima nodded and kept on looking him, Armaan took a deep breathe) kahan the kaha aa gaye, 1 time aisa tha gifts dete hue sochna nahi padta tha aur ab 30,000 ka gift lete hue bhi sochna pad raha hai, maine kaha tha na ki ita aasan nahi hoga, aajkal har cheez ke liye paisa chahiye, agar tumhare paas paisa nahi hai to tum survive nahi kar sakte…
R: armaan unhe pata thodi na hai ki kya hua hai pichle dino, wo to normal hi baatein karienge na, tum sabko bata kyu nahi dete ki kya hua hai???
A: nahi riddhima… mai kissi ki aankhon mai hamare liye daya nahi dekh sakta, dekhna jaise hi sabko batayeinge sabki najarein palat jayengi aur wo mujhe har roj, har pal pareshan kareingi… mai kissi ke saamne kabhi tutna nahi chahta, jaisi image bana rakhi hai waise hi image rakhna chahta hun, kissi ke saamne jhukna nahi chahta, mujhe pata hai hamare dost bahut ache hai, isliye jaise hi unhe pata challega wo sab aakar khade ho jayeinge help ke liye..
lo ye paise rakh lo thode dino baad jab honge tumhare pass to hume waapis kar dena… sab aise kaheinge…. Wo to apni taraf se dosti nibha denge par mai khud apni najron mai gir jaunga, aaj tak kabhi kissi ke saamne kabhi haath nahi phailaye na, bachpan se papa itne paise chod gaye the ki kabhi dikkat nahi aai aur bade hokar khud itne earn kiye ki aaram se life spend ho sake..
to ab agar koi meri help karega bhi chahe uska dil saaf ho tab bhi mujhe aisa lagega ki wo mujhpar ehsaan kar raha hai aur ye ehsaan ka bhoj unn 25.4 lakhs ke jhatke se bahut bada hoga jo humne khoye hai… mai aise nahi reh paunga…. Isliye mai kissi ko batana nahi chahta… kyunki shayad ye paise to hume 1 saal mai hi waapis mil jayenge earn karke, par agar kissi ne mujhe help dene ki koshish ki money se related to mai shayad jindagi bhar apni naajron se uth nahi paunga… jiss self respect ke saath abhi rehta hun, wo self respect shayad jindagi bhar earn nahi kar paunga… (riddhima placed her hand on his face)
R: armaan hum kabhi bhi iss baare mai kissi ko nahi batayenge… (armaan placed his head on her shoulder)
A: tum samajh rahi ho na mai kya kehna chahta hun, mai theek hun na….
R: mera armaan kabhi bhi galat nahi ho sakta, mai achi tarah se tumhari baat samajh gayi, aur tum chinta mat karo, hum kabhi bhi kissi ki help nahi lenge aur surely apni mehnat se phir se earn kar lenge… (placed her hand on his head and slightly caressing it) tumhari aankhon mai hamesha tumhare liye proud hi hoga… (armaan moved his arms around her tummy and closed his eyes)
A: thankyou riddhima…. Mujhe samajhne ke liye… (riddhima kisses him on head)
Riddhima saw one image reflecting on wall, she was surprised, she wants to turn but her hair got struck in his buttons, she quickly detangles it and turned, goes near but found no one… she mumbled to herself pata nahi kaun tha???
