u equated Aishwarya doing kajra re dance as being an escort. It's ur words "I don't see being an escort as any worse than doing Kajra Re( especially the last few seconds of it ) to revive your career." Like really? N yes I find nora's dance moves cringe n vulgar. I would cringe if the same dance moves are done by a male dancer also n I'll consider it vulgar then also

Jazz, you need to make up your mind on being judgemental. Are you judgemental or are you not ? It's okay for you to call Nora vulgar ,graceless and cringey but you are outraged when somebody says s3x work isn't inferior to doing item songs. Where do you draw the line ? I did not equate Aishwarya the person with an escort. I said the decision to do Kajre Re ; -the premise of which was a bar girl moving her body in a provocative manner before drunk men who objectify her make lewd remarks and gestures at her and throw money at her isn't any worse that somebody deciding to be an escort. It comes from the same place ,the need to get something ,whether it's fame money or whatever. What I said applies to all three of them ,not just Aishwarya. You see Amitabh and Abhishek thrusting their crotch at her and at the camera. If you find Noras pelvic thrusts vulgar I don't get why you'd see this song differently. ( Btw it's one of my favourite songs; great lyrics by Gulzar and Aishwarya looks stunning in it ).

My comment was not about Aishwarya or item songs or escorts but the hypocrisy of the Bachchans who act like they're this dignified lot who are too good to be associating with the Kapoors when the difference is quite superficial. Wrapping a Kashmiri shawl around you ,enunciating Shudh Hindi or affecting old world manners don't make you dignified. I don't know what went on after her marriage but I don't think Karishma was an escort. I believe the story was planted by the Bachchans because Babita riled them up.

I'm not judgemental I'm just a person who just has likes n dislikes n I don't like nora's dance moves. It's also the choreographer's fault who invents such type of dance moves so I don't judge nora for that I just don't like these dance moves but the way u presented ur view about Aishwarya's kajra re dance by clearly equating it with being an escort, obviously it looked like u r judgemental sl*tshamer. If ur intention was not that, then good but u need to choose right words for it. N I hope u know that Aishwarya didn't dance in front of actual drunk people, those were background dancers who obviously acted to be drunk

And that's not the same as calling a person an escort as a slur. I chose my words so that it sounds exactly as it appeared in the post. How you process them or understand them is not in my control.

If somebody chooses to sign that contract after knowing what it involves ,they are equally responsible for it unless they were threatened or coerced to sign it. Here is a simpler scenario. Let's say there's some truth to the rumour about Karishma. Let's say she was a bar girl. Not an escort but a dancing girl who danced to popular item songs . No sex involved, just dancing and note-throwing. Does it really make sense for the Bachchans to dump her because of that and then go ahead and do Kajra Re or marry Aishwarya post Kajra Re ? How is being a bar girl worse than acting as a bar girl in an item song when all that happens in both cases is suggestive dancing ? You shake your stuff and get paid for it. No big difference. It's just a matter of perspective. Saying that it was Aditya Chopra's cameraman who objectified you is a weak argument. Whether the men were actually drunk or not is beside the point lol.

IF Karishma was not obedient and docile no way babita could order her around, after all babita, kareena all lived of karishma hard eared money for years, decades. Indeed credit goes to karishma for not going to college but working day and night to get her family financially stable. I doubt kareena contributed financially much to family like karishma did. Its Karishma who shouldered a elder child/working kid responsibility in family and worked like hell 10-12 years till wedding to get them to their rich life style they have even today (babita, kareena) She even gave up her top heroine post and many movies to kareeena and receded back to help kareena establish herself or she could easily work another 5-7 years as top heroine.

For sacrificing her childhood, dreams all for family its sad ppl call her escort etc how sad. Shows good humans do all good work for others than get blamed and targeted for no fault. Ppl should atleast not abuse karishma and give her respect, not all sacrifice their life and dreams for parents and sibling sake like Karishma has done. Karishma life reminds me of ester year heroines like madhubala, mumtaz who worked from childhood for family sake.

again I really don't think that u even understand the meaning of judgemental. N now u r equating dancing for item songs to being a bar girl but earlier u equated it to being an escort. U can't see an item song just as an item song. There is difference between being a bar dancer n acting like a bar dancer becoz actual bar dancer dances in actual bar in front of actual drunk n tharki people but an actor dance in front of those people who are acting to be drunk n tharki. Actor knows that she is safe.
