Vikram Vedha with star Like Hritik Roshan and who was infinitely times better than Shamshera had an opening of 10.56. Shamshera s opening was 10.25 cr with no hit songs. While Tmmj has at least two hit songs - Tere pyaar main and Ek baar

Yes. Shamshera flopped. But it had a decent opening considering everything else.

Omg oh please forgive me and spare me for giving credit to the films lead actress, who promoted the movie as much as the male actor.

I don’t know what I was thinking to give credit to the female lead. I must be out of my mind.

Can’t deny that the buzz surrounding the film has been driven by their Jodi & Shardha's hot looks rather than just Ranbir. However, I see that only one is receiving credit here. If this film fails, I am sure she will be blamed, but if it succeeds, Ranbir will be hailed as the messiah of Bollywood. 😆

14-15 Cr opening. I was expecting closer to 20, but I guess post COVID films really don't open as well as they used to. Only 3 bollywood films have crossed 15 Cr opening since COVID.

Still better than Bhool Bhulaiyya 2 and right in the range of Drishyam 2. Let's see if it has the same legs.
