Ranbir Kapoor vs Raj Kapoor. Bigger superstar?

This kind of preposterous question is only possible on IF.
Raj Kapoor was a LEGEND. And first one to be popular outside India and was Nehru's favorite for cultural diolomacy. Actor, producer, director he was all in one. Most powerful industry man of his time. Ranbir can only dream of matching that level.
Raj. There's no comparison.
Rajesh Khanna was the first actor to be tagged as a Superstar. So technically anyone before him including Raj Kapoor wasn't a Superstar.😆
For Ranbir it is debatable but Raj wasn't a Superstar for sure.😆
Edit: This is a joke, so please don't loose your shit!
wow .. to the audacity to compare THE RAJ KAPOOR with Ranbir ?
Much more ... huge applause to even tag "Ranbir" as "super star"... pehle star to banke dikha .... ?
Since last 3 years he is no where to be seen.
With debacles like Besharm, Bombay Velvet, Jaane Anjaane, Tamasha... and many many more ... he is fortunate enough to get any new movies due to his SURNAME and legacy of MR. RAJ KAPOOR.
List some big grossers of Raj
Matlab, kuch bhi? 🤔

The first three became at the time the highest Indian cinema grossers ever - one after the other.
The joke of the century only on IF - 'Raj was not a superstar but Ranbir is'.
My God the ignorance.

If you wanna say something to me, say it directly.
I feel you have a habit of making personal attacks on anyone whose views don't match with you. Have seen many like you on this forum.
What I meant was the term "Superstar" was first coined for Rajesh Khanna. He was called the first Superstar. So technically Raj Kapoor can't be a Superstar because he came before Khanna.
And it was all a joke, so take a chill pill!
Was this post made to get Ranbir bashed?😆
Got to be.
I mean, he's an actor, an average one but a thespian by Bollywood standards.
But he has years to go before he directs (if at all), produces, and creates stars out of new actors.
Compare him to his grandpa at the end of his career perhaps?
