- Tiger Shroff - his biggest hits (minus War) are with Shraddha.

- Sid’s biggest hit(and only solo hero hit) is also with Shraddha,

- Same with Arjun Kapoor, Half-Gf did good numbers

- Sushant, saw mostly flops, Chichore is one of his few hits

- Aashiqui 2 is also ARK’s only solo hit

- Stree; also RKR’s only hit.

- TJMM did more business than Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Shamshera and Tamasha

This cant be a coincidence. I don’t think we can discount her completely. She certainly does play a big part. Yes - she can’t do a Haseena Parkar or those types of movies but she certainly does have BO pull.

Exactly apart from Haseena Parkar, no movie of Shraddha had low opening. RARKPK got 10 crore opening with Ranveer Singh and kjo with Shabana, jaya like legends. Still it is a sin to compare her with Alia. No one can deny shraddha is face of Stree 2. We can't forget Sequel like welcome, housefull flopped badly. But yahan shraddha hai to use koi credit Dena hi nahi hai

And what have been kat and dp's opening in movies they were the biggest pull? Chapaak opened at 4cr..Phone bhoot at 2cr..Merry Christmas at 2cr

Was she responsible for the success of stree? Or was it the whole plot being interesting, rooted in known folklore with the crowd pulling horror comedy genre, and the comedic gags of the dudes? Like do ppl remember any of her scenes in stree?

She will get a hit to her name and granted the promotions are done with her coz she’s the glam factor in the film…but that’s like saying Sonam was responsible for the success of ranjhna or bhaag milkha…

I agree. Not to say that I would discredit Shraddha or her star power but I think the film doing successful business earlier also had more to do with the content of the film. Along with having a decent star cast the first film’s story was compelling and songs were catchy.

by this logic every movie be it razee or gangu get rave reviews. So their business should also be credited to the content and not with female oriented even with male oriented movies its same. Content is king

Ranbir is already regretful that he got hitched to Alia. He realizes he missed his opportunity with Shraddha who is a bigger box office star and more beloved by audiences. We all know that Ranbir would tether himself to every big female star, from Deepika to Katrina, before settling on Alia because he thought PapaJo would make her the next big thing but audiences did not accept her.

Perhaps we can expect Ranbir to reunite with Shraddha on and offscreen.

I also want to add that Shraddha and Shahid’s weird Gul Batti movie opened at 6crore, which is the same as Stree! That movie had literally nothing going for it. It’s such a high number considering it was a dud. Shahid’s recent TBMAUJ; though a better film - opened at 7 crore.

I think that says a lot. Even her huge flop Ok Jaanu opened at 4 crore, on day one only and that number is double the collection of Janvhi’s Mili movies lifetime collection

Shraddha gave blockbuster with ARK with Aashiqui 2(the only hit of his career)

She gave a 17 Cr opening in 2014 with Sid Malhotra with Ek villain (the only superhit of his career)

She was with SSR in the biggest hit of his career Chhichhore that too in a clash with Dream Girl

She gave a 15 Cr with Varun Dhawan (ABCD 2 was his 1st 100 Cr grosser and even Street Dancer got 10 Cr opening)

She gave RKR's biggest opening & grosser with Stree

She gave double digit opening with Arjun Kapoor (Half Girlfriend) when his downfall phase had already started

She gave played a huge part in the Baaghi trilogy with Tiger (his only big franchise)

And just last year she managed to beat a Karan Johar directorial RARKPK (9 Cr opening with corporate booking) with her TJMM (16 Cr opening with RK)
