Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Rohit assures Armaan he's not alone in the search for Abhira

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Armaan (Rohit Purohit) requests Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) to meet him at the temple. He is determined to wait for her before time runs out. Meanwhile, Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani) is set on preventing Abhira from marrying Armaan.

Kaveri instructs the Poddars to commence the veneration. Manisha urges Ruhi to join in the ceremony. Vidya is concerned about Armaan's wellbeing. Kaveri insists that the Poddars proceed with the Teej celebrations, expressing her frustration that Armaan never considered the family's feelings. Madhav steps up to defend Armaan, but Kaveri is resolute in not allowing the festival to be ruined over Armaan. She instructs Rohit (Romit Raj) to light the ceremonial lamp with Ruhi.

Abhira agrees to marry Armaan:

Rohit, however, refuses to take part in the ritual. He demands that Kaveri give her blessing for Armaan and Abhira's marriage. Rohit points out that Abhira is still waiting for Kaveri's approval. Kaveri firmly states that Rohit cannot force her to accept their union. She then instructs Kajal and Sanjay to begin the veneration without further delay. She also tells Rohit to step aside. Ruhi, on the other hand, is conflicted and doesn't want to perform the ritual with Rohit. Her mind is focused on stopping Armaan and Abhira's wedding. Manisha observes Ruhi's behaviour closely.

Meanwhile, Abhira reflects on how Armaan left his home for her sake. At the temple, Armaan is anxious, thinking about both his family and Abhira. Abhira resolves to stand by Armaan and marry him, even if it means going against the odds. In an unexpected moment, Abhira accidentally receives a blessing from Kaveri, who sarcastically calls her crazy. Abhira confidently tells Kaveri that she will eventually win her over. Manisha is thrilled about the impending wedding and decides to join in the celebration. However, Kaveri reprimands her.

Abhira is kidnapped:

Abhira informs Armaan that she is ready to marry him. Armaan is overjoyed, and they both dance with happiness as they prepare to go to the temple. Manisha comments that the Poddars had missed out on Armaan and Abhira's wedding before and urges Kaveri to give her blessing. Kaveri remains adamant and refuses to bless the couple. Madhav decides to support Armaan and Abhira, declaring that anyone who wishes to join them can follow him to the temple. The Poddars are taken aback but ultimately decide to go to the temple, leaving Kaveri in shock.

In a dramatic turn of events, Armaan discovers that Abhira has been kidnapped. Manisha, Vidya, Madhav, Manoj, and others are stunned by the news. Armaan loses control and tries to rush out to find her, but the family holds him back. Eventually, Rohit intervenes, urging the family to empathize with Armaan, whose fiancée has been kidnapped. Madhav questions Rohit, asking how they can abandon Armaan and highlights his distressed state. In response, Rohit reassures them, stating that Armaan isn’t alone, as he stands by his side, holding his hand. Rohit vows to support Armaan in the search for Abhira. Ruhi is left stunned by the situation as it unfolds, but the rest of the family is happy to see their reunion. Rohit then takes Armaan from there.

In the precap, Armaan confronts the shocking revelation that Kaveri is behind Abhira's kidnapping. Kaveri coldly informs Armaan that she will not allow him and Abhira to marry. Arman pleads with Kaveri to release Abhira, but she declares that Armaan will have to pay a lifelong price for wanting to be with Abhira, leaving Arman utterly shaken.
