Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Akshara proposes Abhimanyu, Abhir addresses him as 'Dadda'

In the episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) on September 25, 2023, the story kicks off with Suhasini advising Akshara to consider her own happiness and see Abhimanyu as a divine gift. Surekha echoes a similar sentiment, urging Akshara to weigh the benefits of marrying Abhimanyu for both herself and Abheer. Overwhelmed by these well-intentioned suggestions, Akshara decides to step away from the situation.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu wraps up a tense phone call with the police inspector regarding Prashant and is consumed by fear for Akshara and Abheer's safety. He prays fervently to avoid being tested with such a loss again. Just then, Akshara calls him and, filled with worry, asks him to meet her in the morning for an important conversation.

The following morning, Abhimanyu impatiently waits for Akshara in a park, where a group of youngsters are playing loud music. Finally, he spots Akshara approaching from behind, and he rushes to her side. In a separate storyline, Mahima learns that there is no case against Parth, and she grapples with guilt and confusion.

As Akshara hesitates and stammers, Abhimanyu encourages her to speak up. However, the blaring music makes it difficult for him to hear, and he urges Akshara to speak louder. In a surprising turn of events, Akshara shouts out her proposal for marriage, and the music comes to an abrupt halt. Abhimanyu is stunned by her declaration, and his heart races as onlookers applaud and offer congratulations.

Back in Mahima's storyline, she grapples with the dilemma of explaining Parth's absence to Shivu. Aarohi advises her to tell the truth, as lying to the children could damage their trust. Shefali adds that any chance of reconciliation between Mahima and Parth seems increasingly unlikely.

In another scene, Abhimanyu tries to understand Akshara's decision, questioning whether it's based on pressure or genuine feelings. Akshara reveals that while his feelings matter, the primary reason is her desire to give Abheer the stable, two-parent family he deserves. She emphasizes her commitment to being both Abheer's mother and Abhimanyu's wife. Abhimanyu, finally convinced of her sincerity, smiles and expresses his determination to make their life together ideal by rectifying past mistakes.

Later, Akshara tries to convey her decision to Abheer through a game of Pictionary, which proves challenging. However, Abheer eventually grasps the message and expresses his happiness, thanking and hugging Akshara.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu shares the joyous news with Manjari, who is overjoyed, and he prays that this decision isn't a mere compromise. The Birla family arrives at the Goenka household to celebrate the occasion, with Manjari embracing Akshara, thrilled that her dream has come true. Muskaan's discontentment is noticeable to Kairav, and amidst teasing and laughter, Abheer affectionately calls Abhimanyu "Dada," leaving him overwhelmed with joy.
