Sunny Leone Apologizes to Delhi Man for sharing his mobile number in Arjun Patiala!

Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Arjun Patiala released a week back and has been mired in controversies ever since its release. However, the film failed to impress the audience and had a slow opening at the box office. The film also features Sunny Leone in a song called Crazy Habibi v/s Decent Munda alongside Diljit.

And in a scene, Sunny gives a number to Diljit, which actually belongs to a Delhi resident named Puneet Aggarwal. Post which, the man has been flooded with obscene calls, messages and video calls from hundreds of people, who think it was the former porn star’s mobile number!

In a recent interview with Zoom, Sunny Leone apologized to the Delhi man and said, “Sorry I didn't mean for that to happen to you. Must get some really interesting people calling.”

While the makers of the film must have assumed that its a made up contact number, it turns out that the number, in reality, belongs to Puneet, who has not related to the actress or the film in any way. After being tortured with hundreds of calls, lewd messages and verbal abuses, he approached the Police for help. He filed a complaint but it wasn’t considered a criminal offense as such.

 Arjun Patiala released on July 26 along with Ekta Kapoor’s Judgementall Hai Kya that starred Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao. Talking of box office numbers, the Kriti-Diljit starrer opened with Rs. 1.25 crore, followed by Rs. 1.50 crore on the second day and Rs. 1.75 crore on the third day, closing the opening weekend on a dim note.
