B Praak talks about tough times after losing his newborn son; reveals his wife is still angry with him

B Praak, the voice behind soul-stirring tracks like Mann Bharrya and Saari Duniya Jalaa Denge, has always maintained a private personal life. However, a heartbreaking aspect that often makes headlines is the tragic loss of his child shortly after birth.

B Praak and his wife Meera Bachan went through a heartbreaking experience, which they openly shared on social media, frequently posting in memory of their loss. The renowned Indian singer recently opened up about this tragic event, describing it as the toughest period in his life.

During a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, B Praak revealed the deep anguish of losing a child. He candidly discussed navigating through this profoundly challenging phase for the first time. B Praak expressed how the experience weighed heavily on him, causing him to question everything in life.

He reflected on his feelings and said, "Agar life mein na Zindagi mein koi bhari laga hai na, kisko uthana toh vo apne bete ki. Usse bhari cheej mai ne life mein uthayi hi nai. Ki itna bhaar itne se bache ka.” (If I ever felt carrying like a heavy burden in life, it was my son; I never carried anything heavier than it. It was a huge weight for a small child.) 

Continuing on, the singer-songwriter shared how his family coped with the tragedy. He recounted a poignant moment when he explained to his mother the weight of the burden he was carrying, a burden unlike any he had ever faced. Following the burial of their newborn son, B Praak joined his devastated wife, Meera, in the hospital. Despite the heartbreaking loss, she expressed a desire to see their son one last time, but unfortunately, she couldn't catch a glimpse of him, deepening her sorrow.

He shared, "That was the bad time. We lost everything in life. Itne negative hogaye. Aaj tk vo mere se is baat se naraj hai." (We became so negative, she (Meera) is still angry with me till date." 

B Praak shared that the heartbreaking event occurred in 2022 and continues to affect their lives, with his wife still holding onto anger because she couldn't see their second child. 

B Praak and Meera Bachan exchanged vows in 2019 in Chandigarh. Their first child, a son named Adabb, was born in 2020, and tragically, their second child, Fazza, passed away during birth in 2022.
