Diljit Dosanjh receives notice from the Telangana government due to THIS reason

Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has received a notice from the Telangana government before his Hyderabad show on Friday, November 15. The notice advises Dosanjh not to include songs promoting alcohol, drugs, or violence in his performance. Moreover, he has been cautioned against involving children in the show and informed about the potential harm of loud sounds and flashing lights on the attending children.
"As cited by representer with video evidence that you have sung songs promoting alcohol, drugs and violence promoting songs (CASE, Panchatara, Patiala Pegg, ) during live show in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on 26th and 27th of October. Therefore we are issuing this notice in advance to deter promoting Alchol/Drugs/Violence through songs in your live show," the notice read.
According to the notice, both the event organizers and the singer have been urged not to feature children on stage during the live show.
"Your concert guidelines say that children are allowed below 13yrs of age. Concert guidelines also say that concert may include loud sounds and flashing lights. Both loud music and flashing lights are harmful for children," the notice further read.
Diljit's 'Dil-Luminati' concert is set to take place on Friday at 7 pm at GMR Arena, Airport Approach Road in Hyderabad.
For those unfamiliar, Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati tour in India will span 10 cities such as Mumbai, Kolkata, Indore, Pune, and Guwahati. The tour commenced with a grand event in Delhi and then moved to Jaipur. The Delhi show drew a crowd of more than 35,000 attendees in a single day.
