Stree 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor reveals THIS senior actress' compliments made her feel truly empowered

Stree 2 has been the biggest success of 2024 for Bollywood. The movie has made over Rs 600 crores worldwide. While Shraddha Kapoor was the face of Stree 2, actors like Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee too played very important roles in its success. There was a lot of talk on how people tried to downplay the credit of Shraddha Kapoor in the movie. The actress who was present at the NDTV World Summit 2024 said that Stree 2 brought her immense joy. She also spoke about the Bollywood actress who gave her the most beautiful compliment. 

She said that Tabu called her up and congratulated her whole-heartedly. She said the actress sent her a handwritten note along with a perfume bottle that had Stree monogrammed on it. Shraddha Kapoor said it was a matter of pride and joy to be recognized by none other than Tabu. She said hearing words about her performance from the best made her heart swell. Shraddha Kapoor said the conversation was very empowering and made her feel super proud of the film. The actress has revealed that Stree 3 is also in the works. Stree 2 was pure entertainment, and audiences lapped it up.

Shraddha Kapoor is also going to be a part of Krissh 4 as per rumours. Fans are keen to see her paired with Hrithik Roshan. The actress also said that she would love to do Aashiqui 3 if the role and script appealed to her. The actress also said that Stree 2’s success belongs to the team. Shraddha Kapoor said she feels happy whenever any Hindi movie does well. At the SCREEN Live Session, she said, “The kind of love and accolades the first part received were immense. It all started there. Hats off to the director, writer and producer for cracking a sequel. It’s important not to make a sequel just for the sake of it — you need substance to bring people to theatres and earn genuine appreciation.”
