Riddhima Kapoor Sahni spills the beans about her daughter’s idol

Since Ananya Panday made her acting debut in 2019 with Student of the Year 2, she has never failed to impress the audience with her performances in various films. In a recent episode of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives S3, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared that her daughter adores Ananya Panday. She arranged a meeting with Ananya's parents, Bhavana and Chunky Panday, who were thrilled. Chunky introduced himself as Ananya's father and expressed his joy for her achievements.

Ananya Panday has built a fan base through her stellar acting in recent years, captivating Riddhima Kapoor's daughter, Samara. Samara admired Ananya's diverse roles, from a relatable young girl to a stylish heiress and influencer. The young fan was delighted to meet Ananya's parents, receiving a warm hug from Bhavana and Chunky Panday in return.

When the actor presented himself as Ananya's dad, his wife, Bhavana, expressed her admiration for his introduction style, mentioning that she 'loved' it.

Riddhima Kapoor shared that Samara looks up to Ananya, stating, "For Samara, Ananya Panday is her idol." 

Chunky was deeply moved; he confessed that he had never cherished his success as much as his 25-year-old daughter's triumphs. On a lighter note, he quipped that now people believe that if the CTRL star can act, so can her father.

For the uninitiated, the actress initially faced criticism from netizens for her performances. However, in CTRL, Call Me Bae, and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, she portrayed diverse roles with finesse, earning praise from fans.

Ananya Panday made her Bollywood debut in Student Of The Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, produced by Karan Johar. She then appeared in films like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Gehraiyaan, and more. Next, she will feature in Shankara with Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan, a biopic of lawyer Sankaran Nair set in British India.
