Do you know who inspired Ananya Panday for her role in CTRL?

Ananya Panday is presently basking in the glory of her recently released film CTRL. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the screenlife thriller features the story of a social media influencer who becomes ensnared by an application that attempts to manipulate her life. While discussing the film and her role, the young actress confessed that she took inspiration from her cousin Alanna Panday and her husband Ivor's life for her character.

While conversing with Bollywood Hungama, Ananya Panday mentioned that her cousin Alanna Panday and her husband Ivor are influencers who document everything occurring in their lives through vlogs. Therefore, she believed they were the ideal source of inspiration for portraying her character, Nella Awasthi, in CTRL. She shared with the publication that she observes many influencers, but her cousin Alanna and her husband are couple bloggers.

She said,"They make vlogs about everything – from when they met, to their wedding, to her pregnancy, and even her journey with their baby,” the Gehraiyaan actress opined adding that they have covered it all on their YouTube channel. Hence, watching them was a close-to-home reference that helped her understand the sacrifices required to be a public figure “especially when your life is exposed even more than an actor’s.”

Just A day ago, Ananya shared several unseen glimpses from the sets of her Netflix film and posted a gratitude message. She wrote, “Grateful for all the love and appreciation Nella and CTRL are getting; reading everything and smiling very wide. @motwayne you know exactly how I feel... love you too much and I can never thank you enough - this is a core memory and one of my biggest learnings.
