RGV supports Salman Khan; says, "Lawrence Bishnoi was just 5 when the deer was killed, animal love at peak"

The recent assassination of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique has once again thrust gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's threats against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan into the spotlight. Siddique, who was allegedly gunned down by three assailants in Mumbai, was known for his close ties to Salman. The Mumbai Police suspect that Bishnoi orchestrated the murder from behind bars, as a Facebook post by suspected Bishnoi gang member Shubham Rameshwar Lonkar warned, “Anyone helping Salman Khan and Dawood Ibrahim’s gang should be prepared for consequences.”

The roots of Bishnoi’s animosity towards Salman Khan date back to 1998, when Salman was embroiled in the infamous blackbuck poaching case during the filming of Hum Saath-Saath Hain in Rajasthan.

As the case continues to unravel, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has taken to social media to comment on the bizarre situation. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Varma expressed disbelief over the fact that Bishnoi, now 30, has maintained his grudge for so long. It read, "LAWRENCE BISHNOI was just a 5 YEAR OLD KID when the deer was killed in 1998 and Bishnoi maintained his grudge for 25 years and now at age 30 he says that his LIFE’S GOAL is to kill SALMAN to take REVENGE for KILLING that DEER  .. Is this ANIMAL love at its PEAK or GOD playing a WEIRD JOKE?"

Bishnoi's resentment became public knowledge in 2018 when he openly threatened to kill Salman during a court appearance in Jodhpur. Since then, his gang has been linked to several high-profile murders, including the assassination of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022, along with threats and attacks on other prominent figures both in India and abroad.

On the professional front, despite the threats, Salman Khan remains focused on his career. He is currently filming Sikandar and hosting the popular reality show Bigg Boss 18. However, with law enforcement closely monitoring the situation, both fans and the industry are keeping a close watch on how this dangerous feud unfolds.
