Soon-to-be parents Alia Bhatt and Ranbiir Kapoor are expecting their first child. The couple tied the knot this year in April. Ahead of the baby's arrival, family and friends of the couple celebrated it. On Wednesday, they organised a baby shower function for mom-to-be Alia Bhatt. Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Mahesh Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji, and many others marked their presence at the function.

The baby shower pictures went viral on the internet yesterday and wait! there is more to it. Today, the actress also shared the pictures on her Instagram account and it can't be more dreamy.

Sharing the pictures on her Instagram account she wrote, "just … love 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛".In the first picture Alia and Ranbir can be seen smiling from ear to ear, while in the second picture the Tamasha actor is seen softly planting a kiss on Alia;s cheeks. She has also shared pictures with family members including Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Mahesh Bhatt, Riddhima Kapoor Sahini, Anushka Ranjan and others. They had marigold decorations for the function. It was looking beautiful.

In the dreamy photos, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress was seen wearing mustard colour Anarkali ethnic wear and Ranbir opted for a pink colour kurta. The mom-to-be was looking extremely beautiful and her pregnancy glow is not to be missed

Apart from enjoying the new phase of their lives, Ranbir and Alia are also riding high on the glorious success of their recently released film Brahmastra. After a long delay due to the pandemic and other factors, the Ayan Mukerji directorial was released on September 9.

On the workfront, Alia has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh and Jee Le Zaraa with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. She will also make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone co-starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.

On the other hand, Ranbir will be next seen in Luv Ranjan's untitled next with Shraddha Kapoor. He also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal with Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor.
