Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan only celebs shining with their business ventures? Deepika Padukone running losses

In the past two years, the number of celebs who have become entrepreneurs is mind-boggling. They have chosen brands that go with their image. Now, a business report has said that Katrina Kaif’s beauty brand and Hrithik Roshan’s casual wear/sports shoes label are the ones that are truly making the moolah. They are making huge profits with a growing consumer base. However, Deepika Padukone’s skincare brand is facing massive losses. This is in sync with social media as Katrina Kaif’s brand is well-endorsed by the average desi woman. 

Katrina Kaif had launched her brand in partnership with Nykaa. It seems she has found over 1.5 million consumers in the past two years. Katrina Kaif’s brand is hugely popular online, and is also growing in direct purchases done at stores. It is expected to grow at 62 per cent. This has been reported by Storyboard18. The actress has done very few films in the past few years. Katrina Kaif has devoted hours to her brand, from choosing the lip colours to products for skin. Her efforts have paid off and she is now recognized as a very successful entrepreneur. 

Hrithik Roshan’s clothing and fitness brand has also crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark. The Bang Bang co-stars are ruling over both the spheres with aplomb. However, Deepika Padukone’s skincare brand is yet to catch up in the market. 

It seems she has faced losses of Rs 25.1 crore at the EBITDA level. Virat Kohli’s athleisure brand has also seen a dip in revenues. From Rs 344.3 crore in 2023, it has come down to Rs 243.75 crore. Even Anushka Sharma’s clothing brand is not faring too well. Reports also suggest that Salman Khan’s huge brand is also struggling to make good profits due to over saturation in the market for those products. Alia Bhatt is seeing moderate success with her kidswear brand with revenues going to Rs 16.2 crores. 

Priyanka Chopra, Kriti Sanon, Sonam Kapoor, Mira Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor also own brands.
