Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara sequel hinted thirteen years later?

Thirteen years ago, the film "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" made a significant impact on Indian cinema. It wasn't just a movie; it was an experience that captured the hearts of many. Fans have been eagerly speculating and theorizing about what might happen next in the lives of these beloved characters. In October 2023, Farhan Akhtar reignited excitement among ZNMD fans by sharing a photo on social media, hinting at the possibility of a sequel. Farhan, also known as Imran from the movie, posted a selfie with the caption that his look from the movie had come full circle, and he asked Zoya Akhtar if the boys should embark on another trip. 

His caption read, "The Imraan look comes full circle. What say @zoieakhtar ..? Should the Bwoys head on another road trip."

Hrithik Roshan quickly responded in the comments section, showing his enthusiasm with "Lesssss goooooo!!!!" Abhay Deol also joined the conversation, saying, "I’ve had my bagwati packed since 2012, what’s keeping you guys?"

Zoya Akhtar nearly confirmed the sequel by adding, "My Bagwati is packed."

In 2021, Hrithik Roshan had already talked about the potential for a sequel to "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara." Speaking to ETimes, the actor said, "The potential for a sequel is always there. It definitely can be done, whether it's in 5 years or 15 years, that doesn’t matter. In fact, that would be really cool!"
