"I don't mind watching reality shows..."

However, he seems to have disappeared for some time now so we decided to ask him what he is doing in his spare time as its been long that we have seen him on television.

On his upcoming plans he says, "Well, currently I am not doing anything on television nor anything in films. I have not got anything so far which would interest me. If I get something really interesting my way I will surely be happy to grab it."

In the meantime he is relaxing and looks total at ease as he talks about how he spends his time nowadays. He says, "I am a very homely guy right now and I like being around my daughter. I am giving her the required time and enjoying all the time I spend with her."

We heard that he was approached for Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap for the role of Maharana Uday Singh which eventually went to Shakti Anand. When we asked him why he did not take up the show he said, "Well, because it was never offered to me. I had visited the Sony Office and that is when we were talking about this show but nothing was concrete as such."

On the current shows that he likes to watch on television Iqbal says, "I don't watch television shows but recently I watched the opening episode of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa as Manish Paul is a good friend of mine."

So would he want to be a part of such a dance show or any other reality show? "No not really. In fact, I don't mind watching reality shows but if I am offered one I would not take it up as I don't like to participate in any reality show as a contestant.
