The iconic crime thriller, CID, is set to make a comeback, featuring beloved actors Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava. Sony TV has just released the first promo for CID Season 2, and it packs an unexpected punch. In this promo, Abhijeet and Daya, once the closest of friends, now confront each other as adversaries. The dramatic moment unfolds when ACP Pradyuman steps out of the car to witness Abhijeet shooting at Daya.

The promo’s voiceover poses a compelling question: “Jo desh ke liye hamesha saath mein lade hai, aaj dushman ban kyun aamne saamne khade hai? According to media reports, CID will begin filming in Mumbai around November 15, 2024. The aim is to air this cult detective series in December, coinciding with the Christmas and New Year festivities.
