Paris Olympics 2024 is the global event now. Quite a few stars are supporting the Indian contingent which looks promising in sports like boxing, badminton, athletics and weight-lifting. RRR star Ram Charan, his wife and entrepreneur Upasana Kamineni, Klin Kaara, Chiranjeevi and Surekha Konidela are now in Paris, France. They have been cheering for the athletes from the stands. The couple shared visuals from the opening of the Paris Olympics 2024. Today, Ram Charan and his pet poodle Rhyme met PV Sindhu. India’s top badminton player is also a fellow Hyderabadi like them. PV Sindhu played with Rhyme who seems like a very friendly pooch.

PV Sindhu has started her campaign on a good note. She has beaten Fathimath Naabaha of the Maldives and will now face Kristin Kuuba of Estonia in her next match. PV Sindhu is ranked No. 13 in the global badminton rankings. The badminton games will happen till August 5. Former badminton world champ Prakash Padukone has travelled to France with PV Sindhu. She said everyday is full of learning with the legend. PV Sindhu told Doordarshan, “I feel every day is a learning, Prakash is a legend. He gives his perspective and am thankful that he is my mentor and telling me on court.”

Ram Charan had been busy shooting for Game Changer. He is now on a family holiday. We saw a pic where Chiranjeevi is pushing the stroller of Klin Kaara Konidela. The actor’s film with Shankar will come in theatres in December. Upasana shared pics of the couple drenched in the Parisian rain.

Even Taapsee Pannu is in Paris as her husband Mathias Boe is one of the coaches of the badminton team. He is a former champ from Denmark. When she met him for the first time he was already an Olympic medalist way back in 2012.

The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics have been called out for the parody version of The Last Supper done by ‘drag queens’. People felt that even if they wanted to show inclusivity they was no need to use something so close to Christian faith.
