Panchayat Season 4 Announced, Director Teases 2026 Release and Upcoming Storyline

The creators of the Amazon Prime Video series Panchayat have confirmed that Season 4 is in progress, much to the excitement of fans. The director, Deepak Kumar Mishra, has shared that work on the series is already underway. After the intense and engaging end of Season 3, viewers are eagerly anticipating the continuation of the story.

Director Deepak Kumar Mishra revealed that Panchayat could have at least two more seasons. The team has already started working on the fourth season, with some episodes already written. Mishra even hinted at a potential fifth season, showing the creators' long-term commitment to the series.

The release of Panchayat Season 4 is expected to happen in 2026. This follows the pattern of the previous releases, with the first season airing in 2020, and the second and third in 2022 and 2024, respectively. Given the two-year gap between seasons, it is likely that the fourth season will follow suit.

Days before the premiere of the third season, which features stars like Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, and others, Mishra discussed the progress of Season 4. He mentioned, “Season 4 writing has begun. There is usually no transition between seasons for us. We have written three or four episodes of the show, and the third season is already complete.” He added, “We have considered producing Seasons 4 and 5 thus far. We have a clear vision for Season 4 and a more expansive plan for Season 5.”

Fans are looking forward to the resolution of several plot points in Season 4. Questions like who attacked Pradhan Ji and whether Abhishek will pass the CAT exam are expected to be answered. Moreover, the upcoming season will likely focus on the Panchayat elections, which will determine the next Pradhan of Phulera Gram Panchayat. The new characters introduced in Season 3 are also expected to play significant roles in the story.
