Rashid Khan, one of Afghanistan's top cricketers gets married in Kabul along with his brothers; view visuals

Rashid Khan is one of the most loved foreign cricketers of the IPL. We know that Indians adore the Afghanistan cricket team. Rashid Khan along with his brothers got married in a five-star hotel in Kabul. The wedding happened at the Imperial Continental Hotel. Fans are loving the visuals from the wedding. We can see that the room was decked with flowers. A huge fireworks display happened outside in the courtyard of the hotel. Some of the top figures from Afghanistan Cricket Board at the event were CEO Naseeb Khan and former captain Mohammad Nabi. Fans also saw young talent from the team like Azmatullah Omarzai, Najibullah Zadran, Rahmat Shah, and Mujeeb Ur Rehman. 

One of the interesting aspects has been the security outside the venue. People saw an AK-47 as well in the visuals in the hands of a security guard. Rashid Khan had been single so far. His old statement that he would be single till Afghanistan won the World Cup is also making the rounds.

Rashid Khan got married along with his brothers Amir Khalil, Zakiullah, and Raza Khan. Rashid Khan is from Jallalabad in Afghanistan. His family had moved to Pakistan when the country was facing the ravages of the war. After spending years in Pakistan, they returned home and he did his studies in his home country. Shahid Afridi is said to be his biggest inspiration. 

In a radio interview, Rashid Khan had said, ““Actually, I was so shocked when I heard this because, to be honest, I never made a statement that I will marry once I win the World Cup, I just said that in the next few years I have more cricket and three World Cups (the 2021 and 2022 Twenty20 World Cups and the 50-over World Cup in 2023) so my focus will be on cricket rather than on getting married.”
