Oviya Leaked: Is 90ML actress' former partner responsible for morphed viral objectionable video? Reports

In a new shocking turn, it is being reported that Oviya Helen has told the Police commissioner of Chennai that she suspects her former partner to be the man responsible for the morphed leaked deep-fake video. Oviya Helen was in a relationship with a man named Tariq. His name has been reported by Hindustan Times Tamil and Matrubhumi. She has alleged that she broke off as she found his behavior objectionable. The tattoo of the woman in the viral video is quite similar to that of Oviya Helen, which is why people assumed it to be her. She has said that Tariq allegedly has many such videos of women, which can be used for deep-fake. 

Some days back, Oviya Leaked trended on X. A viral MMS video showing a couple having sexual intercourse was claimed to be hers. Netizens demanded it, and it soon spread to Telegram channels. The viral video was for 17 seconds. She filed a complaint saying that it was done just to defame her. At that time, her manager said more could not be divulged as the matter was a sensitive one. Oviya herself maintained resilience in the matter. When people asked her about it, she dismissed it with sarcasm. 

Women celebs and even normal women are being targeted by such cyber-crimes. They have become rampant in countries like South Korea. We saw what happened with Rashmika Mandanna some months back. She is now the brand ambassador of the Government of India’s cyber security initiative. It seems Tariq was angry after the breakup and did this to defame the actress.
