Little did Mouni Roy know that her casual trip to UAE in March would go on for more than seven months. The actress had visited UAE to spend time with her sister and mother when the lockdown was imposed.
While speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Mouni shared that she made the full use of her time at UAE and brushed up her painting and cooking skills. She also took Gita classes and did lots of yoga.
Later, she moved to the UK for the shoot of a web show. Speaking about the shooting amid the pandemic, she stated that nobody knew what to expect, but everyone followed the rules with only one department present on set at a time. There were also compulsory swab tests every week.
Mouni shares: “In the last seven months, my nose and throat have been swabbed around seven times, it’s uncomfortable and painful, but necessary. Luckily, no one fell ill on our set.”
Recently, Mouni jetted to Maldives to celebrate her birthday. She shared that once you reach, they ask you to change and a doctor arrives to do a COVID-19 test. The results come the next morning and only then you are allowed to walk freely on the island, even without masks.
The actress shares that she will finally arrive back home in India this month.
