Ranveer Singh Expresses Joy After Daughter Dua’s Arrival, Calls Relationship with Deepika Padukone ‘Magical'

Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who tied the knot in 2018, recently welcomed their daughter Dua. Ranveer, in a heartfelt moment at a recent event, opened up about the "infinite happiness" he has been experiencing since becoming a father, while also describing his bond with Deepika as "magic."

The actor expressed his immense joy, saying, “That infinite happiness that I’m experiencing right now.” He revealed that he has been embracing fatherhood wholeheartedly, adding, “I’ve been on daddy duty for a long time, making me excited to have some fun and let loose.”

Ranveer also reflected on the importance of having a life partner and the profound connection he shares with Deepika. “Life is a shared journey, and there’s nothing like experiencing it with someone by your side. Whether it’s pain or happiness, sharing it with a partner magnifies the joy and lessens the sorrow. It’s like magic,” he said.

The couple first announced in February 2024 that they were expecting their first child, due in September. On September 8, 2024, they welcomed their daughter and shared the happy news on Instagram. Their announcement received an outpouring of love from fans and the film fraternity.

During Diwali, Deepika and Ranveer shared a touching glimpse of their baby girl’s tiny feet, adorned in a traditional red outfit. Revealing her name, the caption read, “Dua Padukone Singh. ‘Dua’ means a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love & gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer.”

On the work front, the duo was recently seen together in Rohit Shetty’s action-packed cop drama Singham Again. Ranveer is now gearing up for his role in the highly anticipated Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar.
