King: Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan movie has roped in THIS regional star?

Shah Rukh Khan fans are keenly waiting for King. The superstar is teaming up with Sujoy Ghosh and his daughter Suhana Khan for an actioner. While Ghosh will be the primary director, Pathaan maker Siddharth Anand will helm the action sequences. The young lady had a lacklustre debut with The Archies. So, a lot of hopes are pinned on King. It seems the film is on the lines of Leon The Professional. It is about a gang lord who takes on a young woman as a disciple. Sujoy Ghosh has roped in Abhishek Bachchan as the baddie in King. Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan are undergoing extensive training for the same.

It seems Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta was at an event to promote his film Khadan. The star was asked when would he work in a movie with Shah Rukh Khan. The occasion was Jaggadhatri Puja, which is celebrated in some parts of West Bengal. When he was asked about it, Jisshu said that people might see him soon in a project with Shah Rukh Khan. The star was one of his biggest fan bases in West Bengal. We saw the madness during the release of Pathaan where people had made it a literal festival.

Suhana Khan got praise for her trimmed physique at a recent event. She is looking extremely fit for a hard-core action film. The young lady is training very hard for the same. Shah Rukh Khan has said that he wants to focus on action movies. He said that he always wanted to be an action star but ended up being in romantic films instead. SRK has quit smoking and is concentrating a lot on his physique. His line-up includes films like Pathaan 2, a rumoured project with Amar Kaushik, Tiger Vs Pathaan and more. 

Sujoy Ghosh is known to cast local talent depending on the milieu of the movie. It is possible that King has a Bengali angle. His last film Jaane Jaan starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma got immense appreciation from all quarters. It was an adaptation of the novel The Devotion Of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino.
