KWK 8: Sara Ali Khan on the real deal behind Bollywood friendship: "there’s no point making best friendships"

Sara remarked, "I don't want to say that 'yes, it's all easy' because it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn't always easy. When you're involved with anybody, whether they are friends or colleagues, whether it's romantically or professionally, I get involved and invested. It's not casual; it matters."

The actress went on to emphasize that the intricacies of the film industry can indeed affect one's personal life, but the key is to rise above the complications. Sara added, “Something that I’ve realized, without sounding semi-negative, is that there actually are no permanent predicaments in this business. In my limited experience, there’s no point making best friendships and pinky promises and ‘I won’t do this, I’ll never talk to you again’. These nevers and always don’t happen,”

She further elaborated that harboring unrealistic expectations in the entertainment business is a recipe for disappointment.
