Katrina skipped 'Tamasha' bash because of Deepika?

Imtiaz Ali's directorial 'Tamasha' that brought the golden couple of Bollywood Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone back on the big screens received great response from the audience. Friends and fans flooded the star cast with innumerable compliments and the film also fared well at the box office.

After receiving so much of acclaims from all around it surely does call for a celebration. So to mark the success of their film; team 'Tamasha' called in for an impromptu success party. Ranbir and Deepika looked into all the preparations of the party and also personally sent out the invites to their industry friends to be a part of their victory.

A special invite was also sent to Ranbir Kapoor's alleged girlfriend Katrina Kaif but the lady didn't turn up for the bash. Whereas, Ranveer Singh like a doting boyfriend had come up to be a part of his gorgeous girlfriend Deepika's success and was seen supporting her throughout.

The bash took place at a suburban restaurant and as per the sources; the reason for Katrina to ditch the party was the presence of Ranbir Kapooor ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone that kept her away from being a part of the celebrations. It was the growing proximity between Ranbir and Deepika that was bothering Kat and she didn't want to see their unison.

However, the British beauty Kat put to rest all the rumours last night at GQ fashion night. Clearing the air she said, "Ash, Sonam & I were shooting on three different days for L'Oreal, so I had to miss the Tamasha bash." [sic]
