Kareena Kapoor film festival: From 'Jab We Met' to 'K3G'- List of films that you can relive in cinemas

Here's the list of the films that fans can enjoy during Kareena Kapoor Khan film festival and revisit the memories in the theatres.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has been one of the names in the industry that has embossed itself in the history of Bollywood. The actress has marked 25 years in the industry, serving audiences with some of the most iconic roles and films and continuing to do so even today. Earlier PVR cinemas had announced a film festival to celebrate the diva and the 25 years that she has given to the industry. 

The official tweet read, “Celebrate 25 years of the OG Queen, Kareena Kapoor Khan, as her most iconic films return to the big screen! From unforgettable characters to setting trends that shaped pop culture, Kareena has done it all. Celebrate 25 years of Kareena Kapoor Khan with a highly curated film festival, only at PVR INOX. Festival Dates: September 20-27 at PVR INOX!”.

Now we have the list of the films that fans can enjoy during this festival and revisit the memories in the theatres. It includes, Jab We Met directed by Imtiaz Ali, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham by Karan Johar, Asoka helmed by Santosh Sivan, Chameli directed by Sudhir Mishra, and Vishal Bhardwaj's Omkara. The film festival will begin on 20th September and will last a week till 27th September.

The film festival is running across 30 cinemas in 15 cities. Reflecting on this milestone, Kareena expressed her gratitude for the festival, saying, “The blood in my veins, the magic on screen… my job I love… the fire within… here’s to the next 25. Thank you to @pvrcinemas_official & @inoxmovies for curating this beautiful festival… so humbled.”

Simultaneously, Kareena’s latest film, The Buckingham Murders, is playing in theaters. This crime thriller, marking her debut as a producer, features her in the role of Jasmeet Bhamra, a detective leading a tense investigation into a missing child. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film, which premiered on September 13, 2024, boasts a stellar cast including Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, and Prabhleen Sandhu. With her dual role as actor and producer, Kareena continues to push boundaries, proving her enduring legacy in the industry.
