Hence, when he recently revisited the romantic masterpiece "Veer-Zaara," he was moved to find his name in the credits alongside the iconic filmmaker.

Karan Johar embarked on his directorial journey in 1998 with the groundbreaking "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai," followed by other hits like "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" and "Kal Ho Naa Ho." Despite his burgeoning success, KJo ventured into costume designing for "Veer-Zaara." While celebrity designer Manish Malhotra handled most costumes, Karan personally curated Shah Rukh Khan's attire, earning him a credit in the film.

As he revisited the timeless love saga crafted by Yash Chopra, Karan was overwhelmed to see his name among the credits. Taking to Instagram, he shared his emotions, reminiscing about Yash uncle and expressing gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to a Chopra film. Kjo penned, 

“Was watching #veerzaara and remembered Yash uncle so much. Saw my credit as designer for @iamsrk and felt so excited to be a credit in a Yash Chopra film. So many memories."
