Karan Johar reveals having a fear about his kids discovering he is a single parent

Karan Johar, a prominent filmmaker in Bollywood, renowned for his family dramas and romantic movies, reveals his inner fears as a father for his children, Yash and Roohi. Recently, he shared his concerns about their eventual discovery of him being a single parent. Yash expressed his apprehension about the questions they may have and the need for him to provide them with honest answers.

The latest production from the filmmaker was the third season of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives on Netflix. The team organized a 'Fab Reunion' session on Netflix India's YouTube channel featuring Karan, where he delved into different elements of the show, particularly highlighting the personal disclosures shared by the stars. Notably, Neelam Kothari made one of the most impactful revelations during the discussion.

Following two seasons, she opened up about her initial marriage and subsequent divorce from businessman Rishi Sethia on the show alongside her friend Ekta Kapoor. Karan then conversed with Kothari about this segment of the show, reminiscing that he was involved in that chapter of her life and can vividly remember those times.

Consequently, witnessing their on-screen journey evoked deep emotions within him. The actress further disclosed the moment her daughter Ahana discovered her divorce via Google, causing her profound astonishment. Reflecting on this revelation, Karan Johar admitted to empathizing with the situation as he grapples with a similar apprehension.

Acknowledging a persistent worry, Karan Johar expressed his concerns about handling comparable inquiries from his children, Yash and Roohi, once they become aware of his status as a single parent. Additionally, he contemplates the potential response from his kids upon learning about his unconventional family dynamics.

He said, "They will find out things, and I will have to be answerable. Being a single parent, I know I am answerable to my children about so many aspects. Thank you for sharing that, Neelam. It was really beautiful."
