Conman Sukesh Chandrashekar Expresses Interest in Purchasing Stake in Dharma Productions

Sukesh Chandrashekar, who is currently serving time in Tihar Jail for extortion, has made a surprising proposal to filmmaker Karan Johar. He suggested acquiring a significant 50-70 percent stake in Johar’s company, Dharma Productions. This unusual offer was sent from Tihar, one of Asia’s largest prisons, through a legal firm called Anantam Legal.

In his letter, Sukesh clearly stated his intention to take control of Dharma Productions, making it clear that this offer was ‘non-negotiable.’ He mentioned that if Karan accepted the terms, the deal could be concluded in just 48 hours. The letter read, “This is a letter of intent regarding acquiring a major portion of stake in your company, Dharma Productions,” and was subsequently shared by Sukesh’s PR team. He further explained that his financial advisor had indicated that Dharma Productions was looking for investments, and Sukesh’s company, LS Holdings, was keen to support the production's growth.

Recognizing the impact of his dubious reputation, Sukesh acknowledged that his proposal might appear ‘unusual.’ However, he insisted that his intentions were sincere. He shared, “For me, movies are not just a business, but a passion and an emotion, as I am personally a movie buff. I am sure this offer may seem unusual, coming from the walls of Asia’s largest prison, but Karan, the best and wonderful things happen from extraordinary situations, places, and persons.”

So it’s a Privilege and an honour to acquire a Stake/infuse funds in your Company and Become a part of your family.”
