War 2: Shah Rukh Khan to Join Hrithik for Explosive 'Pathaan' Cameo!

Reports have surfaced online, indicating that YRF is going all-in for the Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani starrer. The film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, has begun shooting in Mumbai, where an intense action sequence is reportedly planned. Jr NTR is expected to take on 40 opponents in one of the scenes. Additionally, there are hints of a potential cameo by Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan.

A source closer to Midday revealed "Ayan wanted Jr NTR’s solo scene to be designed in a way that it highlights the character’s raw power. With that brief, the action choreographer envisioned a fight that sees him take on a gang of 40. The team started shooting early at the set inside the studio, and will be shooting here for the next three days."

Also as reported by Dainik Bhaskar, Shah Rukh Khan may reprise his Pathaan avatar in a cameo for War 2. Much like the Tiger and Pathaan crossover, fans might witness a Pathaan and Kabir team-up in the film. However, the exact schedule for filming the cameo hasn't been finalized yet. The report suggests that the shoot could take place in the first half of 2025, with Pathaan potentially making an appearance in a post-credits scene.

War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, marks Ayan Mukerji’s debut in the spy genre and Jr NTR’s first foray into Bollywood. Earlier this week, a photo of Kiara Advani and Mukerji from the film's set went viral on social media. The movie is set to hit theatres on the Independence Day weekend in 2025.
