But alongside the buzz came confusion, all thanks to a fake social media account impersonating actress Deepika Padukone.

The bogus profile posted a message reacting to the teaser, claiming Deepika was “sad but found the video wonderful.” The post quickly spread online, leading many fans to believe it was genuinely from her. The fake comment read, “I am sad but wonderful video Sandeep Reddy and happy birthday #Prabhas sir.” However, it didn’t take long for fans and fact-checkers to confirm that the verified actress had made no such post.

The Spirit Buzz and Deepika’s Exit

Adding fuel to the discussion, reports resurfaced that Deepika was once considered for Spirit before being replaced by Triptii Dimri. While neither the makers nor Deepika have officially commented on her exit, speculation suggests that creative differences and scheduling constraints may have played a role. Some reports claimed that Vanga wasn’t too happy with her alleged conditions, including an eight-hour workday, a hefty fee, and a profit share from the project.
