Kangana Ranaut has taken oath as an MP today evening. For her big day, she chose a white saree with jewels from Amrapali. Her hair and makeup was done by Chettiar Albert who has been working with her since a long time. Kangana Ranaut said she had got her movie star glow back on her face. Kangana Ranaut has shown that she might be the most stylish MP after her first appearance. She has won from her hometown of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. She defeated the Jammu MP Vikramaditya Singh by a huge margin. 

Kangana Ranaut had plans to enter politics since a while now. Her father Amardeep Ranaut said that she got a ticket offer since two years now. In 2024 she also met JP Nadda, who is one of the top politicians from BJP. The actress took a break from films to campaign in the town of Mandi. She has said that politics is social service for her. Kangana Ranaut has Emergency and a thriller movie with R Madhavan.
