India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, announced his retirement from T20 international cricket after securing victory in the World Cup final on Saturday. He stated that he would continue to play in Test and ODI formats but is stepping away from the shortest format. This announcement follows his teammate Virat Kohli’s decision to retire from T20 internationals.
