Kangana BREAKS her silence,says OK being called a Whore, Psychopath

Kangana Ranaut has finally opened up publicly, says she is ok with being called a whore and psychopath.

Kangana Ranaut who had maintained silence from such a long time has finally opened up and spoken up about controversies revolving her.

At a recent television interview, when Kangana was asked about her unresolved fight with Hrithik Roshan, she said, "If a woman is sexually active, she's called a whore" and if she's "super-successful, she's called a psychopath." (sic)

When another interviewer asked her the reason for not working with the Khans, she said, “In the beginning, I wanted to have a conventional, very easy route where I can work with big heroes and be a big heroine. Now I get a lot of offers to work with the Khans. When I wanted work, nobody was ready to work with me. Now that I'm my own hero on the sets, why should I work with other heroes?” (sic)

About her witchcraft activities she said, “Witchcraft is an ancient art, everyone should know about it. What is wrong with witchcraft? Don't we like Harry Potter? I would want my daughter to know about witchcraft,” she said, adding that terms like witch, whore etc are being used as weapons to destroy women and we need to find our strength against that. (sic)

When asked about her take on people who are discussing her menstrual blood, she said, “What about my menstrual blood? People in the country are discussing my periods. It's not an appetiser or cocktail. Even to suggest that it is used for making food is not acceptable. What's so gross about our period blood? Why do we need to tell our women that period blood is gross? If a man's body fluid doesn't cast a spell when it is consumed in any way, why should a woman's body fluid do?” (sic)

On a concluding note she said that no matter how ugly the legal battle gets, she is not ready to bow down to pressure, “At this point, I can't pretend to be sorry about something that I am not.” (sic)

#4 I am a self-pleaser, not a people-pleaser.

#5 We as women have been defending ourselves for way too long.

#6 I don't find it humiliating when they call me a psychopath, witch or whore.

#7 If a woman is sexually active, she's called a whore.

#8 Women can kill with success and sarcasm, why use hands?

#9 Sometimes you have bad days, but then you have cupcakes.

#10 My journey is extraordinary, from a village to here.

#11 I am not entitled to give my views on something which will be decided in court.

#12 I don't know how to be anybody else than who I am.

#13 It's been a roller coaster ride but I feel I am on the right track.

#14 It's unbelievable that women have been treated like object.

#15 Every attempt is being made to embarrass me.

I am not really a Kangana fan. In fact, I am a Hrithik fan. Also to be honest I don't know who is right and who is wrong in this whole ugly mud slinging business. But from reading Kangana's interview, I can say that I really admire her strength and her will to stand up for herself. My admiration has got nothing to do with Kangana being a man or woman. But very few people can be as strong as her. Kudos to her!

@ NJ : it escalated into a womens card issue when her menstrual blood and her "black magic" was brought up in a ridiculous manner by the Sumans.. after that it wud be abysmally foolish of her to not retaliate with the women's card.. I am not a Kangana fan and frankly in the HR vs her legal fight, both come across as juvenile..but HR and now the Sumans have crossed limits of mudslinging..labelling someone as having Aspergers was ridiculous, especially when Mr. HR got the basic symptoms wrong itself.. then comes the allegation of black magic as told to the accuser by HIS tarot card reader and pundit..these men are making fools of themselves without any help from her.. her acceptance of her sexual life is difficult to digest? but the affairs of the "men" in the industry are topics of discussion on this very social site..how are they acceptable? Feminism does not mean being arrogant, yes!! But targeting her in such an uneducated manner is worse and reeks of misogyny..

since she is using the women card, I'm pretty sure many ladies will support her...it's good to see a woman succeding after long stint of failures...however, boasting about affairs, explicitly telling about sexual life, announcing to the world about menstrual and witchcraft are not relevant to women empowerment...I hope no girls takes her an inspiration...(having said that, the men involved in her life are neither an inspiration too)

I don't like that this argument between Hritikh and Kangana reached the court. Sure they dated and because she sees that its just a thing nothing more, afterall he was married already and has kids also she is upset and she takes him to court because she hears him telling people they dated, she is denying it and then he has to prove with her own texts and emails that she said these things. So for me yes she feels she is defamed and her reputation is affected but by going to court the matter has got more bigger and she will be even more defamed and now truthfully she must regret her decision to take the matter to court but she is denying it here, so what rubbish is this? She's not truthful, so we the public are just watching the tamasha and to see how much more she will be defamed with all this dirty talk and whoever is spreading the witchcraft rumors also. If I was Kangana I would investigate Hritikh because the time his wife left him they was a lot of news of how she and her husband were both Heroine addict and she wanted to get clean for her kids, so perhaps if Hritikh is behind all these rumors about Kanagana feeding him period blood food as witchcraft she should equally defame his character now, and the case will be then thrown out of court and at least not only her lost her reputation also him has lost something. She needs to find more dirty to sling at him.

Dont know who is right and who is wrong between both actors but what Kangana Ranault said regarding women is total reality of our lifes and am talking for all girls.
Regarding Kangana decision of not working with Khan's i dont understand at all the link with the case here but want to clarify one thing this is her career decision and nobody has the right to question her or blame her for deciding so..i dont understand why people are making such an issue of this ? She doesnt want to work with Khan's so what ?!!
Dont remind of the name right now but there was an actress of this Bollywood Industry who said that she doesnt want to work with old actors like Sharukh, Salmanor even John Abraham and nobody took interest in that matter why ???
Well unfortunatly thats how this world work..kisiko chain ki saans nahin lene dete...Kangana has been enough being dirty by Hrithik and many people in the industry words cant we leave her in peace ? Cant we let her breath in peace ?!! Is it too much to request for ??
This media should let the court decide of this case and stop making an issue about Kangana career decision. Because her professional life has nothing to do with this case or her personal life. No matter who is right or wrong both have make dirty their own image with this disgusting case and personnally am disapointed with both of them because of that.

She doesn't owe any explanation to anybody..that too for some hideous rumors spreaded by some wannabe hypocrites!

This case mirrors the actual realities of our so-called progressive society where a woman gets targeted just bcoz she is an achiever, lives her life on her own terms and most importantly has a backbone!

I personally salute this firebrand lady..who has the courage to fight back & isn't scared jus bcoz the supposed 'biggies' of bollywood are the opponent here!

I don't know who is right in this whole fiasco...bt these words of Kangana are really very true!!! It is so sad that jst because she is a girl...people are throwing baseless allegations on her!!! And wht is more saddening is that there are girls more than boys(except that something Suman) who are so involved in jst defaming her!!! Anyways the entire controversy itself seems so fishy n useless to fight over!! I hope both of them sort this out maintaining their dignity!!!

Well Done Lady! Its sad that she is so judged. Unlike some others she is not married . She has no children . She is responsible for only herself {selfish as it may sound} and yet the public so viciously shame her. I do not intend to comment on witchcraft ... it so behind times but i must love her saying "I do not know how to be anyone else except myself" .
