Kalki 2898AD: Prabhas proves himself fan of Shah Rukh Khan

Kalki 2898AD, India’s first dystopian film is made on a reported budget of Rs 600 crores. This makes it the most expensive film ever. Kalki 2898 AD that has Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani in leads is a sci-fi action movie. The makers have started unveiling the assets. Bujji And Bhairava is not out on Amazon Prime. The series is about Bhairava (Prabhas) and Bujji (Keerthy Suresh), his futuristic car. The vehicle has been designed by none other than Anand Mahindra’s team of specialist automobile engineers. Nag Ashwin and team also asked Elon Musk to try out the car.

Now, Shah Rukh Khan fans have spotted Pathaan reference in Kalki 2898AD. The famous Kursi Ki Peti Bandh Lo dialogue is there. We know that Prabhas is a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan. He has said that King Khan is his forever fave ever since he began to watch Bollywood films. He also said that he is inspired by his journey as a self-made star.

Kalki 2898AD and Indian 2 are the two big South releases of July 2024. There is a window of two weeks between Kalki 2898AD and Pushpa 2 as well. The animation series introduces the world of the film and is getting a good response. Prabhas has dubbed in all languages. Nag Ashwin planned this prelude to create excitement given how the movie is an experimental one. Prabhas has been doing varied movies after the success of Baahubali. Even Salaar is in a different space. Prashanth Neel and the actor shut down all rumours of Salaar 2 being shelved with a pic. Prabhas told Deadline that his biggest takeaway is working with Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in the same film.
