Kalki 2898 AD: Kamal Haasan terms Deepika Padukone's baby 'lucky mascot'

Kalki 2898AD: Kamal Haasan is the main villain of the film

Kalki 2898AD is coming in theatres this week. The movie made by Nag Ashwin has better hype in the North Indian market than Salaar. Everyone who saw the Release Trailer of Kalki 2898AD are amazed by Kamal Haasan as the villain. He is unrecognizable. The movie made on a budget of Rs 600 crore is a labour of love. Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone were both present at the promotional event in Mumbai. We saw how adorably the whole team treated Deepika Padukone. Fans now want her to do more movies with Prabhas and Rana Daggubati. 

Deepika Padukone was pregnant during the second part of the shoot. Kamal Haasan said her unborn baby was a lucky mascot for the movie. He also said that it is possible that the kid will make a career in the world of films. Deepika Padukone blushed hard hearing these comments. Kamal Haasan was quoted as saying, “That’s what made this film. That child. We hope this child (Deepika’s child) will also make a film someday.”

Amitabh Bachchan has a character inspired by the intense but flawed Ashwatthama. His prosthetic took three hours of work on a daily basis. Kalki 2898AD has crossed the three million USD mark in the US surpassing RRR. Nag Ashwin’s father-in-law Ashwini Dutt Chalasini is the producer of this magnum opus.
