Did Disha Patani just call Salman Khan a Santaclaus?

Disha Patani made her big debut alongside Sushant Singh Rajput with M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story in 2016. While she may be just three films old, the gorgeous actress has managed to win hearts already. Interestingly, she is also termed as the National crush of India, thanks to her looks that could kill.

Disha rose to fame with the 2018 film Baaghi 2 co-starring rumored boyfriend Tiger Shroff. The action drama was a blockbuster hit and crossed the benchmark of Rs. 200 crore on the box office. She was last seen opposite superstar Salman Khan in Bharat. 

Speaking of her experience on working with Bhaijaan, Disha said, “A lot of people told me that he has an intimidating personality. But he is so sweet, humble, funny and down to earth. He makes everyone feel comfortable. He is a family-oriented person. I remember people coming to him for help.”

"He is Santa Claus sitting on set, willing to help everyone,” she added.

The 27-year-old actor also reveals that she gives her “100% to every film” and then she focuses on her next without holding on to the status of her last film. “Once I finish a film, I completely disconnect from it. I don’t like to watch myself on screen. It makes me feel very awkward so once I’ve shot it, it’s done,” Hindustan Times quoted Disha as saying.

For the uninitiated, Disha belongs to Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh and dropped out of college to pursue a career in films. She says, “I still feel like I am too new. I’ve only done three films and I’m still hungry for different roles. And, I want to stay hungry. I never want to reach a point where I’m content with myself...I’m not from here and I’ve had to struggle to get here, so I want to keep struggling for different roles and films now.”

On the work front, Disha will be next seen in a romantic thriller film titled Malang, starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor, and Kunal Khemu. The film is slated to release on 14 February 2020.
