Day 2 saw even better results for the film. Official numbers report that Bad Newz collected around Rs 10.55 crore on Saturday. The movie witnessed a jump in footfalls and revenue, likely due to the weekend boost. With this, the total collection for Bad Newz now stands at approximately Rs 19.17 crore. The film's success proves that the comedy genre still has a stronghold at the box office. Bad Newz offers a unique and funny story about heteropaternal superfecundation. The plot revolves around a woman who conceives twins from two different fathers. Vicky Kaushal plays Akhil Chaddha, Triptii Dimri plays Saloni Bagga, and Ammy Virk portrays Gurbir Pannu.
