Alia Bhatt Reveals Her Goosebumps Moments from Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's Iconic DDLJ

Alia Bhatt has never shied away from expressing her love and admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, much like many others in the industry.

Recently, Alia was all praises for her Dear Zindagi co-star, revealing that his iconic "Palat" scene with Kajol from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) still gives her butterflies and goosebumps. Alia believes that every girl dreams of a recreation of that scene in her own life.

Speaking with a magazine, Alia Bhatt shared that Shah Rukh Khan is the first name that comes to her mind when she thinks of Indian cinema. She said, “Then he’s waiting for her to turn—‘Palat’—and, on cue, she turns. The music swells, and it’s like butterflies, goosebumps, everything put together.”

Alia further added, “I think every girl has wanted that sort of moment in her life—where you look back, and there's a guy looking at you, or he’s waiting for you to look at him.”

Alia concluded by saying that everything about SRK spells ‘love’ to her, and the Palat scene embodies that sentiment perfectly.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt is gearing up for her upcoming movie Jigra, which is also her maiden project as a producer. The action-packed drama is directed by Vasan Bala, stars Vedang Raina, and is set to release in theaters on October 11.

Bhatt is also part of Yash Raj's Alpa and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles.
