Kareena Kapoor marked an incredible milestone of 25 years in the film industry. At an event, she gave credit to her co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan for their roles in the success of movies like Jab We Met and Omkara. She expressed, "In great films like Jab We Met and Omkara, we've always bounced off each other's energies."

During a special event in her honor, Kareena Kapoor recognized that the success of movies like Jab We Met, Omkara, and Asoka was greatly influenced by the amazing energy shared with her co-stars. She expressed gratitude to the actors and said, “I have to credit a lot of my films to my co-actors. Actors bounce off each other's energies. In great films like Jab We Met (co-starring Shahid Kapoor) and Omkara, we've always bounced off each other's energies.”

She added, “Whether it was Aamir (Khan) in 3 Idiots, you also need to take from them. So I also want to take this opportunity to thank all my actors in all these wonderful films. Without them, none of these films would be what they are, whether it's Jab We Met, Omkara, or Asoka (co-starring Shah Rukh Khan)."

In her career journey, Kareena has brought to life numerous unforgettable characters, such as her portrayal in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Omkara. She reflected on a moment post the film's release when she anticipated accolades from directors and friends. Yet, she was surprised by the overwhelming praise for Saif Ali Khan's portrayal of Langda Tyagi, which outshone her own performance.

The Crew actress looked back on her sense of pride regarding her role in Omkara. Confident in her depiction of Desdemona, she arranged a special screening, inviting esteemed directors like Mani Ratnam to view the film. Kareena was excited to exhibit her performance, particularly as Dolly Mishra, a rare and significant female character in Shakespeare's works. Yet, to her surprise, the audience was captivated by Saif Ali Khan's portrayal of Langda Tyagi, overshadowing Kareena's performance as everyone lauded Saif instead.

Kareena Kapoor shared how, during the break at the screening, everyone initially praised her performance, but attention swiftly turned to Saif Ali Khan. Following the movie's conclusion, the audience showered her with compliments, yet their inquiries were all about Saif, leaving her puzzled. She confessed, "I called everyone to praise me, but suddenly, they were all flocking to Saif.."

In her professional endeavors, Kareena has received notable praise for portraying detective Jas Bhamra in Hansal Mehta’s crime thriller The Buckingham Murders. Moving forward, Kareena is set to feature in the Cop Universe movie Singham Again, where she will join a stellar lineup including Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
