Aakanksha Pal, known for her portrayal of Nimrit in Zee TV's popular show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, has opened up about her heartfelt connection to the festival of Diwali. For Aakanksha, Diwali is more than just a festival; it embodies the joy, warmth, and togetherness that comes with celebrating this vibrant occasion with loved ones.
In her words, she shares, "Diwali has always held a special place in my heart, especially because I have lived in Delhi for a few years, where the festival is celebrated with so much excitement and grandeur. The streets would be lit up, and the air would be filled with the smell of sweets and crackers."
One of my favourite memories is helping my dad set up the lights around the house and helping my mom while she makes the most delicious sweets and meals for us. She used to make her special Gajar ka Halwa, which she does even today whenever I go back home. This year, I will be celebrating this festival with the cast of Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye and my close friends in Mumbai. I wish everyone a very happy Diwali, hope you celebrate this festival with your loved ones
